Topic: Sonic 4 Complaints?

So People are Complaining about Sonic 4 Because Sonic has Green Eyes and Because He is Tall? If People are Complaining about this why not complain that mario has Brown and Redd Overalls or that Luigi dose not Have Green and white overalls In NSMB

Cause some people cannot accept the fact that Sonic is coming back and they dont want it to change. To them I say, play the old ones.

Complains about the modern/classic art style are ridiculous, as if that was important for the gameplay, and that's the real issue nowadays for sonic.
What you can expect from an elitist/purist.

A: Actually, it is not his fastest speed! That quote actually just furthers my thoughts about this situation and that is that people are rushing into things prematurely when there hasn't even been loads of footage shown. Give it some time, already, geez.... People will ALWAYS find something to complain about. Now that it's going back to its TRUE roots, people are still complaining.

@KnucklesSonic8 I agree, people want sonic to go back to old fashioned sonic, yet they don't want 2d pixel graphics(read from a lot of comments on a forum) so SEGA try new graphics and people complain about minor things that really don't change the gameplay at all. (LOL green eyes and to tall)

I don't think the complaints are specifically for sonic, no matter what they say. Since the dawn if the gaming internet community, some just live to complain about everything and anything. I mean the game isn't even out , the complaints are ridiculous and shouldn't even be given attention. It's just a matter of some people who think their opinions are way more important than they are, waking up and saying, " I wonder what ridiculous thing I can complain about today!"

I'm not crazy about Sonic's new build. He looks a bit awkward from the animation they had in the trailer. (actually it looks exactly like the Sonic Rush model, which I didn't like very much.)

If you want to be technical, Sonic have the same structure as the Unleashed version, if not the same model.
And the some animations on the trailer are awkward because it's just badly copy pasted flash animations, Sega gave to the guys who made the trailer.

Green eyes and height complaints? Wow, the internet has sunken to a new low.

As for my complaints, I don't have any that are specifically related to Sonic 4, but more about the series of games (the 2D ones) in general. I honestly couldn't find the appeal in just holding down the right D-pad and pressing the jump button every few seconds. Just remember; personal opinion.

Oy. The game was JUST officially announced, and people are complaining already?

I'm taking a wait-and-see approach. If i pick it up, it'll probably be on Wii, since i expect the price point will be a tad higher on 360 (especially now that they've been making 1200 points/$15 a fairly common/standard price).

It's understandable, we know almost nothing of the game, and it's using the number 4, claiming to be an classic sonic game.
Most People are just really entering in panic, than really having real complains, that such thing doesn't work considering it's have the hands of the modern sonic team, (the team that made those loved classic is a thing from the past.).
It's the fear of failing from so high.

Episodic downloads are always worthy of complaints. I remembered that Rocket Knight is coming back so my excitement level over Sonic 4 already has dipped to the level of "meh" after being "hell yeah" for about a day. Now if Namco announced Klonoa 3... Sonic would be entirely irrelevant (well, more irrelevant than usual) to me.

WAIT WHAT WHAT WHAT. I MUST KNOW MORE OF THIS.

EDIT: Oh my goodness do want. But not on Wiiware. Bah. Might have to see if my crappy PC can handle it.

I know it's your opinion, and you might not like it at all, but or you didn't play to later stages (after 1-2) in classic sonic games, or you just played games like Sonic Advance 2.
Because that put, it's like saying Mario it's the same thing, right and jump just with an extra button to make you run without any kind of acceleration (walk or run at the same speed)
That's not enough to beat an well done Sonic game.

There noting wrong with Sonic, it's just the animation was a bit of when he was running in the trailer that's all.

Oh for the love of Sega, the game has a chance. If you are going to complain about petty stuff such as Sonic's post Sonic Adventure design change, then you are just excepting Sonic to always be bad. His redesign is fine with me. As long as Sonic 4 delievers the 2D Sonic goodness I have been waiting for years, that is good enough for me.
