Looks like the remake of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time is only coming to XBLA and PSN. Sad about it not coming to WiiWare (I sure am), but do you think we still have a chance to get the SNES version on the VC, or the Arcade port to the VCA (Assuming we EVER get anything from that system, NA wise).
Until I get an official "No." I'm not letting my hopes down. It'd be really stupid to just release the original for us, and the remake for others, since the games was originally on the SNES anyways. And if their excuse is "the graphics are too teh awesomez" then I call bullshit.

I hope this isn't the case. I really loved TMNT IV, so a WiiWare remake would be a must buy. If it is the case, though, Nintendo should still release the original onto VC. At least we can get our Turtles fix that way.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
I'd prefer the remake, since I own the SNES cart, but for those who aren't so fortunate, either is good. Still, the wiimake would be much prefered, IMO. Especially with extra features.

Expected. Most XBLA-developed titles don't go to WiiWare unless the platform was decided BEFORE development began. It's just too big to fit for WiiWare, and I guess they decided that it was too much money to try doing a Wii-Remake of the game.
Oh, and whoever mentioned Bionic Commando, don't expect anything. Apparently Nintendo refused to have BC on VC like Capcom requested. I imagine this has something to do with Capcom not developing a remake for Wii, or a new game for Wii.
Just because Konami or Ubisoft think they can cancel the WiiWare version doesn't mean that they have a full hold of their TMNT license! So I'm not in the least a bit surprised!
Turtles in Time will come to the VC eventually though; I've had my patience wear thin over time that I just don't care anymore! Reason why is because they never even brought the NES TMNT 2 to the VC; & way back then I was POed that they ERSB dropped that... thankfully I got over it a long freaking time ago!
But my only guess is that Turtles in Time might have a new window of oppurtunity if it ever gets released on the VC this year of 2009!
So I'm just throwing out a wild in between date guess: Somewhere in between July 22 (when the XBox360 ReShelled version comes out); & until the end of September.. or maybe later until the end of the year possibly if they like drag it out that is!
