I'm Glad Max and The Magic Marker is doing better, i have the full game and i always thought it was very underlooked. The game is very fun to play, despite being a little short and have a few minor glitches (that don´t ruin the gameplay in any way).

That's the main issue I have, the camera makes it unplayable for me.

Yeah, there is that. Several deaths have occurred because I couldn't see the enemy.

But then thats Qix gameplay for you - don't try to take off too much if you're not sure you can reach safety in time before the enemy comes. Not being able to see the enemy is at all times makes the game more challenging, but possibly for the wrong reasons. I'd like to see the review of this game.

Volfied is my favorite of the Qix style games.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I've tried out the Fluidity and Frobot demos now. They're both decent enough that I'll keep the demos, but neither of them interest me enough to buy the full games.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Two new demo's of older games. And Yet It Moves and Fish 'em All! Really don't like the first game (wished the demo came earlier, would have saved me some points) but very curious about the last one.

I actually quite like the demo for Fish 'em All, it's fun and I like the different modi and the presentation. But 800 is too steep a price and I think that it get's old pretty quick. Not to mention that my arm is pretty tired now.

I found Art of Balance surprisingly refreshing. So much so, that I'm leaning towards adding it to my "to get somewhere in the future whenever I have the time" list.

In North America we got Bit Trip Beat again. I know we got it last year but the files are different. This one is 177 Blocks and the last one was 164 Blocks. Unfortunately I have had time to check it but has the content changed to make the demo 8% larger? Also I notices that it it counted as a different Demo in the shop channel since it didn't say downloadable but instead said "Free 0 Points" as if I had never downloaded it before.

Bought ThruSpace after playing the demo a couple times. Really, the demos definitely helped me make my mind over some products. Adds a few games to the buying queue, and I hope more devs with games already out take note of this, and for the most part it has helped the games featured.

In the US, we've lost our first demos. ThruSpace, lilt line, and Frobot demos are now gone. ThruSpace probably didn't benefit from the demo much, as the game itself can be a little overwhelming for the casual Tetris fans. lilt line and Frobot were both shown in this week's Nintendo Week, so I have a feeling that both less-than-steller sales for at least one of them combined with the Nintendo Week focus pushed the demos off the store, at least for now.

Finished the demo of Gods versus Humans and I'm very disappointed. Not as disappointed as with Robox, but I didn't really liked it.

This week America got Fish Em All and Furry Legends. I'm surprised that Abylight just about gave the full game for free as a demo, as it didn't seem to have a cutoff for the Arcade or Fistris modes. Arm got tired, and I found it sorta boring and pricey in the end. Shame, because it looked like it had a bit of effort behind it. Maybe if it had a story mode similar to Flowerworks. Furry Legends, meanwhile, was not as horrible as people here seemed to comment. Humor is meh, and the camera could use a lot of tweaking. However, I found the shake attack to be well-implemented (in that rather than having to rely on where the remote shoot, you pointed the direction to launch with the stick). Not sure how long the game is, though, and I'm certain it gets worse from the first level, no?

Meanwhile, add another victory to the demos. Art of Balance is in the Top 20 in the US, a first for the game! It seems that Shin'en is doing very well thanks to the demos.

I'm very glad I waited for the review of Furry Legends, and even more grateful for the demo! (I no longer have to worry that I missed something)

Fish Em All was good for a demo, but I can't see myself having much more fun than I had with the demo. However, I would've preferred if more of the "Challenges" were available. This demo is definitely a keeper!

Wow! Almost a page of 2nd gen demos for me! (I don't download demos for games which I already own/am offended by: stares at Frobot. Also, if I buy some of these games down the road, I'll be sure to delete their demos.)

If only there would of been a demo for Sonic 4...Then I wouldn't of had to waste $15 on a big pile hedgehog droppings.
And Bit Trip FATE's demo pretty much summed up my feelings towards that one, 'no thanks!'
But I gotta say, I enjoyed the demo for Nyx Quest.....Although design wise, the environments were looking a tiny bit bland, but it was pretty fun nonetheless.

Now I had a bit of time to play the new demos...

  • Fish'em All!

A highly polished arcadey multiplayer game. Good graphics and music (I love the realistic banjo players animation.)
After a few rounds of practice it really grows, but after a serious session your arms are going to hurt because of consistently waving the Wiimote to the left and right to catch those fishies. Different modes and highscore lists keep you motivated, especially puzzle mode is one of my favourites.

  • Gods vs Humans

It took me a second approach to get into this game, because it's a text-heavy and unique realtime strategy game. Text-heavy because the in-game manual is very in-depth, and also is the tutorial. Today I've beaten the demo's five missions by ultimately only destroying the fundaments of each tower. A bit underwhelming, this kind of strategy, but I suppose that's just fine with the first few levels being nice and easy. The humans look cute, the animations are good and potential in gameplay is there. There's nothing really wrong with this game and it seems there's enough content to warrant the price. I need to watch some videos of later stages though and if there's enough variety. The achievements sound fun.

  • LIT

I like puzzle games, and this one seems like a good and unique one. The horror theme is original to the genre and fits very well with the gameplay. I have beaten the demos five stages and I found it pretty addicting. I hope later stages provide new items and of course harder puzzles. 25 stages sound really short though. I hope there's more content than that.

This game gets really freakin' hard in the later stages, so it provides enough challenge. It's definitely worth the full price.

I just played through the Art of Balance demo, and I'm really impressed. I knew that this game was getting good reviews, but I didn't think I'd enjoy it. Well, I was wrong. Everything about the demo was great - the graphics, the music, and, most importantly to me, the game-play. I'm definitely going to buy it. I wouldn't have even considered it without the demo.

I agree, iphys. I thought that Zombie Panic in Wonderland would be OK if it were a 500 point game. I certainly wouldn't pay 1,000 points for it.
