Topic: Need help at the beginning of "Lost Winds"

Somehow Im really blind in this game - I finished the first tutorial passage and went to the village with the waterfall. Now I just dont know how to go on, although Im kinda sure that it is something obvious I dont see. I have tested some things, but nothing really helped - maybe one of the ways I already tried was right, but I forgot about a little detail or something. Would be great if someone could help me

(I didnt play this game for months because I felt stupid to ask for it so early in the game^^. Sorry if a topic already exists - I havent found a topic about LostWinds or even a search function in this boards . )

if you're at the part I think you're at, try going all the way to the top of the screen (where the dude is that you talk to about something or other; it's been a long time since i've played LW) and all the way to the right. there should be something for you to break or jump over and you'll be able to go farther right afterward.

It might also help to look at a video walkthrough on Youtube. I had to do that a few times because it's not always clear what your supposed to do in that game

Thank you both - theblackdragon's Tip didnt help me though (what is probably my fault because I didnt explain my problem too well), so I read it in the walkthrough. I needed the slipstream ability to go on.
