Instead of getting an error message when trying to go into add-on shop, why doesn't it just say there isn't any download content available yet? Also, what Luffymcduck said, if the score doesn't reset every so often, then, honestly, that score system sucks a lot... The score is more influenced by how much you've played than by your performance.
Instead of resetting the scores the score system reduces overall scores 10% every day. If you don't keep playing, you'll lose your leader board position quite fast. This also makes it easier for a new player to rise in the leader boards. Good thing is that the point counting is server-side and we can tweak it if necessary.
@Oddy: For me, the absolutely best part of the game is the party rally. As honestly as I can say it, this is THE best local multiplayer game I've played. We have played party rally at the studio as long as it has been implemented and still we can't get enough of it. The party rally itself is worth 1500 points. But for that 1500 points you also get the single player and online modes. I'm not usually the leaderboard junkie who likes to reset 1000000000 times just to get the perfect time, but with MotoHeroz I just keep doing that in online mode. I assure that these are my true opinions and not just market speech.
@dupon: regarding the error message, that's out of our control. Regarding the scoring system, we weighed different ideas, but of course as time goes on and we see how the players react to the system, we'll consider what we can do to make it more fair and fun to all, especially if players come in later.
@oddy: Pahannes is not kidding! The team plays the game fanatically, every day. If we can post images in this forum, we'll put up snaps of the weekly developer's tourney trophy, covered with names! Or we'll put it on our forums.
Well I finally got to the end of it. Though I didn't race against the last racer spider using the spring they gave. I missed a power up earlir, went back a little and it was still there. So I used it instead(Probably saved me alot of going over and over more. Plus I wasn't sure the powerup would still be there.) Though I think I'll try the spring next to win that end race again. Oh and I hated that bug on the bug level. Pain in the butt.
I was away for two days and my ranking dropped a lot. I´ve been getting more connection error messages online lately, three or four times today to be exact. Are there too many players online or what?
It would be great if David Wise made soundtracks to all future Nintendo games.
@jenkki Great job on the game guys! I'm a huge fan of the Trials series (scoring Trials HD a 4.5/5 in my review), and this game is just as fantastic. The only gripe I've got with the game is obviously because of the size restrictions, being a bit more diversity in the audio tracks, as they do get a bit repetitive during 4 hour marathons. No biggie and I completely agree with Corbs 10/10 review score as I'd have given it the same score. I'm really looking forward to Trials Evolution!
Oh, it's quite obvious you guys are taking us on too, as my #1 ranked worldwide score for the LumberJack track was taken by someone who's acquired all the Gold Medals and had the top car in the game. All I can say is "good job" to whoever it was that smashed that time, as my run was literally flawless!
I do have one question that I'm confused about though, I can't keep my #1 worldwide times online because people are somehow being able to use better cars than myself, even when I own the same car as well. Is this some sort of glitch? It doesn't happen much as I've still stood top ten of all the Unlimited tracks since I purchased the game, but I was a bit frustrated yesterday when in two different tracks I couldn't use the same cars that the ghost was using, even when I owned it too. Even with perfect runs I couldn't stay within a second or two of them at best.
EDIT: I just moved into the Top 50 on the Worldwide Leader boards!
I got it today. I love it so far. It's Colourful, Fun gameplay (Just one more go), like the music. I think it's worth the price. I played about 1 hour on single player (19%). About 30 minutes online play. I like the online leaderboards. I hope i keep enjoying it. Thanks for making it.

After over a week of playing, I´ve found out what I hate the most in this game: One Shot Races. I´ve won one of those but now I´m feeling I was just very lucky. I practiced that track a lot and won. I practiced last two or three numerous times too. I had more good runs than bad ones. But sometimes when I start racing I crash at things I´ve never crashed in my practice runs. Makes me want to crush my Wiimote, good thing they´re so hard. If I don´t race them my ranking will drop a lot so I have to do it anyways.
Unlimited races though are as fun as always. Slippery Slopes is a great track. I was 3rd in that yesterday but now I´m 9th. Good job guys.

Hey everyone, post your MH names in the NL Racers thread. But please delete your posts after I add you to list at the top of the page please. It'll make it much easier for me to add anyone else in the future. (<:
I'm having so much fun with this game. The daily challenges are great, except I always mess up the ones where you only get one chance. It's hard to keep your composure when you know you only get one shot. I just beat the story mode and now I have to go back and get all the gold medals and ancestor spirits that I missed. There's so much to do in this game. It's fantastic.
I tried to get my friend to download this game, but he won't. I guess he doesn't know a good game when he sees one.

Hey @Pahannes, how much more cash does RedLynx think they're going to peel from our wallets when the DLC becomes available? If this becomes anymore expensive, it might as well have been a retail release. I'd really like to know how much the DLC is going to cost, before I proceed to purchase Moto Heroz. I know DLC is completely optional, but I don't want to feel like I own an incomplete/unfinished product. )<:

The game doesn't feel incomplete at all. I've already played MotoHeroz more than I play many 50 dollar games, and that's saying something.

Well @SamuraiShyGuy, I was informed by @RoryLee that the tracks are only 20-25 seconds in length. This fact isn't exactly appealing in my opinion, it's the same deterrent that kept me from purchasing ExciteBike World Rally. I really wish the courses were a little more lengthy. I know the main game is complete in itself, but I would still feel like I'm missing out on something if I can't afford the future DLC. I know I created the Buddy League thread and all, but I'm really not sure if I'm going to end up purchasing this. You wouldn't hold it against me if I don't, would you @SamuraiShyGuy? I mean I'll still add any newcomers to the list. )<:
Didn't know MotoHeroz has future Pay&Play DLC.
Anyway, you bought Bobby Carrot Forever which has tons of Pay&Play DLC, so what was your reasoning again?
And MotoHeroz is a physics racer so it's a good choice that the levels are quite short since there's so much room for making mistakes.
Excitebike's tracks are just right. They vary in length very much. You have the 30 second lap in the first race, and you get your 3-4 minute races later on.
Anyone have tips for clearing hills without a power up? I keep getting stuck in a slow drag to the top, which destroys any chance of collecting Gold Medals. Am I doing something wrong? I tried tilting both ways, but my buggy still creeps to the top at an incredibly slow speed. Should I try rolling when I come to a hill, or am I suppose to figure out a way to stay clear of them altogether? I hate the gates, so I've been figuring ways to just hop over them, instead of forcing my way through. They really kill your time even if you slam into them at the perfect angle, what's up with that? I've been informed that the DLC for Moto Heroz will only add more to the party rally, so I probably won't be purchasing it anyways. I only partake in the story mode and soon enough the online races.
Clearing hills can be a matter of staying on the ground and letting the car travel down without much acceleration and then apply acceleration once you get to the hill. The other way is to get height and speed using the ramps and ensuring that your angle matches the slope you're going to land on so that you get traction straight away. You could also use reverse to get a little run up before attempting slopes.
I decided to get this game last night. I'm halfway through the story, participated in some online missions, and raced 60 multiplayer matches and can't wait to play more, with more than 2 players!
Now to say something about the game: The trap stage is awwwesum!!!! Every few stages you get a break from those frantic ghost races and get thrown into an exciting pool of ideas (missions) that are just plain fun to play. I wish there were more of them. Transporting Hans on the top of your car is hilarious! And the main character is the dumbest hero of all time. The dialogue of the story mode is so stupid, I love it. Multiplayer is one of the funniest on WiiWare to date! The controls and physics are perfect. Content is outstanding. Graphics are some of the best on Wii. The music reminds me of some C64 SID tunes. The online is feature-packed! I can see why this got a 10/10.
A perfect racing game needs spot-on controls, a true sense of speed, and great tracks to race on. MotoHeroz has it all.
Still no update from RedLynx on the DLC, huh? I wish we'd receive some type of confirmation on this subject, at least the amount of points that'll be needed to purchase. )<:
