Hey Mix Superstar Fans!To celebrate the release of Mix Superstar to our European friends, we've created an all new contest. We have decided that Mix Superstar is going to get a demo on WiiWare so that people can get a sample of what they can create with all of Dance, Hip-Hop, and Techno loops included with the title. What is also going to be included in this little demo are community made mixes! That's right, we want to use the best of what everyone has created to show off how awesome Mix Superstar is at creating tracks. Visit http://mixsuperstar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=99 for all the details on what's involved in getting your hit track included with the demo.
Good Luck and Happy Holidays!

I think me and my friend spent about 2000 points worth of loops. I really enjoy this program. I was also pleased that a lot of loops I downloaded had piano keys. I just need a violin and I am set. Also does anyone have the Rock loop? I want to hear what it sounds like.
Again, I just ask for loops that sound 80's ish. On second thought nvm, 80's music was mostly synth sounding right? Then I got a good amount with the Chillout and a few others. VIOLINS! Or video game sounds.

didn't the demo just come out? for the States anyway... no one is talking about it?
but maybe someone can answer a question... it seems you can send a song in progress to a friend so it can be worked on by others to create a song together. if i have a track pack that they do not have and added bits from those packs, how does that work? will it work for them?
74. Posted: Tue 15th Mar 2011 03:49 GMT
If I'm understanding correctly, to my knowledge it won't work for them. If you send it as a finished piece, that's a different story.
75. Posted: Tue 15th Mar 2011 03:57 GMT
i was afraid of that, but it does make sense. i want a friend of mine to get it, just to play around, but now i'm not sure if i want to suggest it. i doubt my friend will want to pay for extra content.
oh well, this is still a great WiiWare release!
76. Posted: Tue 15th Mar 2011 03:58 GMT
I think there's ways around it but it might be a bit tedious to do.
77. Posted: Wed 16th Mar 2011 13:47 GMT
If you send a mix over to friend via WiiConnect24, and you have used a purchased loop pack that they do not have, they will not be able to listen to it unfortunately. http://bit.ly/gQDo9g this post explains how Mix Superstar plays it's mixes that you create. Basically they don't have the data on their Wii to play the loops.

@zimmy — Nice mix! Can't wait to hear some more. We're also releasing our 'Alternative' loop pack this Saturday. There are some really nice tracks in there to punch up any Dance or Rock tracks you might have.
