Topic: Max and the magic marker VS. Nyx Quest.

I need some opinions on these games. Both look interesting but Max looks more varied in the level design. I keep talking myself out of Nyx quest because it looks like every area is the same. Nothing but endless deserts and not much variety in the music. I don't want to come away feeling let down so before I buy which would you all suggest?

Well, Lostwinds 2 beats those both. And the Bit. Trip games do too (but you have to buy them all for the true experience )
But it really depends what you want. Max and his Marker is more of a puzzle, and is a longer game (I had around 5:30 when I was done). NyxQuest is and adventure where you run to the end of the level, yet is shorter (had 4:20). But I think they are both great games filled with plenty of "Woh, awesome!" moments.

I know all about Lost winds. I have both of those so I have a pretty good idea how they work. I hear Nyx quest is similar so I've been curious about trying it. If Max and the magic marker is longer I think I'll go for that. Might get nyx quest later.
