Does anyone have any information on when this game will be released or, dare I say it, has it been cancelled? After weeks of nothing on Wii download, I'm wondering what they're waiting for. It looks amazing and I'm holding off getting the PC version in favour of the Wii as think it will be a nice title for the Wii remote.

Also, for some reason, every time I mention this game my post gets deleted, so making a thread for it this time instead - cover up conspiracy or weird forum glitch?

I think the Wii version was canceled, as well as the one for XBLA. I see no point why you shouldn't get it for your PC - it has virtually no hardware requirements and is a standard point & click adventure, so really - playing it on Wii wouldn't change anything in terms of gameplay. Besides - PC version is cheap and comes in a nice metal box, with a poster inside. You won't get such things on WiiWare...

To be honest, Kifa, the PC version is just as appealing to me and will probably end up getting both. I'd like the Wii version first, though, as I have little to get for it at the moment.

It's a real shame if it has been cancelled - it's a lovely looking game but I guess I do have the PC to fall back on.

If the Wiiware version of Machinarium really is cancelled, that's a pity. But if the xbla version is also cancelled, that means we Wii owners aren't the only ones with bad luck for once!

Either way, I didn't know there was a retail-version for PC. Maybe that's a option for me, if I can get it!

If you act quickly and pay enough money, you can get it as part of the Humble Indie Bundle. Right now you have to pay $5.25 US to get Machinarium, Braid, Osmos and some other games on top of this year's bundle games. You can pay more to support the developers and charities, but you set the price and determine the breakdown. Google it if you haven't bought it yet.

If you find yourself spiritually drifting (as I was for far too many years), remember that Jesus can and will walk across the water to reach you and bring you back to shore.

It was on Steam's daily deal earlier this week for £1.87. Couldn't say no at that price.
