What happened to this game? Big fan of the original 2 games, I do hope this is released someday.

well yeah but the 2nd game came out a year after the first game but the 3rd game isn't seen ANYWHERE EVER so it's kinda odd.

Are you kidding me? I'd love a third game in this great series. I never got to play the second one but the first was awesome.

I'd look forward to it on 3DSWare. I think WiiWare is done.

I liked those games. Not so much the second game, since it had that bug where you couldn't replay the game after finishing it.

I haven't played the second yet but the first was such an overrated game. It was okay but nowhere near as good as some people were saying it was but even some people didn't like the first seem to like the second so I'll get that at some point.

...not really? People's opinions were only slightly more positive than "ok". I certainly don't remember anyone praising it like it was World of Goo or Cave Story or even Fluidity.

It wasn't praised as much as those games but I saw a lot of 9/10s for it and even a few 10/10s those scores are definitely overrating it to me. I also think the high 80's scores that a lot of the critics that review out of a 100 were giving it was too high. I would give it a 7/10 or 70 - 74%.

that's because some people give a 9/10 for mediocre games because they are dumb and horrible.

Wasn't too keen on the first game but loved the second think the developers started concentrating on kinnect though would have loved a lost winds 3, also wonder if rage of the gladiator will ever get a sequel too like they seemed to indicate.

Leave Fluidity out of this conversation. It's the best underrated game on WiiWare ever.

Still need to check out LostWinds 2, since i really enjoyed the heck out of the original. And WiiWare was always semi-dead to me. It seems like it's got a few fantastic titles or so(Mega Man 9, LostWinds, Cave Story, Castlevania: ReBirth, World of Goo! Moto Heroez, Fluifity, LostWinds 2, Mega Man 10 ect), but it's massively out weighed with a lot of Count Chocula CrapOla.

I thought both LostWinds games were charming with a solid art style and intelligent use of motion controls. Personally, toptier examples of a great use of the wiiware platform for releasing games.
Agreed that wiiware got flooded with garbage, this website sold me on a dozen titles I either would have missed or otherwise passed on.

I like the first LostWinds game quite a bit, and loved the second.

It seems doubtful that they'll release another game on WiiWare because the platform has been dead (or at least dying) for years... but hopefully the series continues somewhere else. Heck, I'd be happy to buy a retail version similar to what the Bit.Trip guys did if that was the only way to get a new LostWinds chapter.
