I've been wanting to get this for a long time. At this point I don't expect it's ever being released. We all know how Nicalis like to take their sweet ass time.

Not technically the publisher's fault, but rather the faults of the slow responding on NoA and NoE's parts. Still, it's been well over two years since the game was announced, I understand all the wait and patience we must have to see it through.
BTW, the only news I can really offer comes from Nicalis' Twitter.
From October 22nd:"It's being reviewed by Nintendo for release. We should hear back in a couple of weeks."
Sorry guys, but this is the time where we have to crack down. You all have other things to do besides waiting for this, obviously Trust me, though, it'll be worth it in the end
Why do astronauts backtrack? They forgot the Space Jump Boots.

by now the release has lost it's timing, I wonder if upon release it will have good sales... sure they will have to do lots of marketing and count on high review scores

Strange....this was listed as having a release date of February 23rd at NoA just a few minutes ago, and now it's gone.

Well Nintendo of Europe just put out their release schedule which has it coming out in April. So I guess the US should be getting it at the same time?

cheetahman91, Don't worry my friend. Because I truly believe future WiiWare titles will certainly be released, even after the WiiU has launched. Nintendo knows there were a great number of Wii consoles purchased just recently around last Chritsmas, and they also know there's an increased potential for profits. I predict the majority of future WiiWare titles will most likely be shovelware, like we've seen recently. But there's still a good chance that we might just receive a few more 5 star titles like, "MotoHeroz". Developers know like Nintendo, there is a greater potential to sell their products if they're worthy. Couple this with the fact that there's most likely not going to be very many more popular retail titles released, and WiiWare and the VC service will become the largest outlet for profit in the Wii console marketplace.

Hello everyone! We are sorry for no update for 4 months.
A lot of things happened in the last 4 months, but we still don’t haveanything to release officially. However, we wrote this article because we want to tell you as much aswe can say at the moment.
WiiWare version:The master data for NOA and NOE was handed to our publisher, Nicalis. After that, we haven’t received any reports. So, we have no idea when the release date is determined.
PC version:We have almost finished developing it.Debuggers are in the middle of testing. In the meantime, we are discussing where and how to sell it.Off course, PC version is being released overseas.
For the future:We are not only a developer but also a publisher in WiiWare Japanese version. That is why we could make statements freely and quickly. We will be able to talk about the PC version freely. So, we will reply comments about PC version as many as possible. We are sorry for keeping fans waiting such a long time, and thanks foryour encouragement forever. We promise to do our best to deliver LA-MULANA ASAP.Thank you again for your patience.
P.S.NIGORO members are not good at speaking except Japanese, even so wework hard to make statement in English. Sorry if that sounds funny!
