I've been hearing that some think this is a bit easy. What do you think?

when you compare it to the ps3 version then i'd say yes. it looks like R2 will be the must have version.

In this reply, take into consideration that I have not played any other version of this game. I think you can definitely make this game challenging especially with the online ranking aspect. Take how I'm playing the game for instance. I'm a perfectionist so I don't even want to move on to the next stage until I'm satisfied with a perfect clear and score. I've replayed the first stage a few times to get a perfect and see if I can unlock more waves.

@Bones- Interesting. It'll be cool if you get rewarded for doing better in ways other than a high score. I really don't want it to be too easy either. Does a fairly addictive quality to it (Like just one more time)?

I have never played the other crystal defenders either.

It would depend on what kind of gamer you are really. I mean I seem to be more of a collector than a gamer lately. I just bought lots of GBC stuff from ebay. I played a few stages and it seems there's two stages to each map. I've only progressed to the third map so far but you play one stage on one map and then the next stage will have more waves on the same map. You'll then progress to the next map and will begin another two stages on that map. You will gain more classes as you progress. The way you plan your strategy will determine really how difficult the game can be. You seem to only be rewarded with a score but once you reach a stage that lets you post a score online, then you can work for a better ranking score. You can pause the game at any point and add more troops so with that in mind, it can be easy.

Well I'd like a reason to get this game, so I'm glad to hear that not everyone is finding this a breeze.

It depends.

If you're trying to get perfect (not letting any enemies get by whatsoever) than it will present a challenge, especially if you want a high score. If you are only worried about finishing a level, it may be a bit easy.

I just bought it and I wouldn't say it's easy, but I wouldn't say it's hard either.
