If you were a WiiWare developer looking to cash in, what type of game would you create? If it was all about the money, I think I would come out with a My Aquarium clone Episodes 1-20. All 20 episodes would probably hit the top 20 haha. People are so predictable.

Or maybe a combination of the horribly popular "Family" series and fish? "Family Fishing Challenge". That'd surely go to number 1 and stay there for the next year or so.

Another good FPS would be nice. A third person action/adventure game would be good too.

I'd do a sports series where your Mii's are the playable characters and the there 10 sports in each game to make 1000 points a fair price

I think Luke is a WiiWare developer looking to cash in.

LOL I wish. It'd be like taking candy from a baby.

I would do yet another throwback to the 8-bit and 16-bit days of gaming. Unlike some of the other developers of certain WiiWare games, this game will be about quality, not the quantity of cash I get.

I'm back (for the moment)!

Xkhaoz

Probably a good online multiplayer shooter. No wait, stupid memory limits.

Aquatic Family party RPG Masters online 1500 points
It would be about you (your mii) you would spend your days fishing, and catching the very best poke- er I mean, magical sea creatures and pitting them against your friends, family, and foes. There is 4 player and online play, there will also be items that can be equipped to your character for god modding stat increases to your Fishymon, and naturally come at a cost for each

call me Dicesuke Inuzuka, Daisuke, Dice, or Dai.

I would never do that.

cheetahman91

A sports minigame collection for 500 points with six games where only three of the games are available and the rest must be purchased as DLC at 200 points a piece.

SwerdMurd

A SNES-era RPG, complete with SNES-style graphical presentation, totalling about 35 hours of play, that costs 800 points for the first half of the main game, 800 points for the second half of the main game, and then has a bunch of little DLC packs to play little 2 hour scenarios for 300 points apiece...the total price for what would equal one SNES game's worth of playability would probably be about 3700 points.

I'd make a 2.5D isometric side-scrolling beat-'em-up game for up to 4 players with multiple difficulties, power-ups, and cheat codes (which keep your score at 0) but with modern graphics, a large variety of moves (that don't require complicated inputs), the ability to save your game, the ability to restart from any level you've previously reached (which resets your score), online and offline co-op play (including online coop with multiple players from the same console allowed), online leaderboards that include a "friends only" leaderboard, and maybe a couple of special features to further extend the replay value if there's enough space left. It will be playable with Wiimote + Nunchuck (with very little use, if any, of motion controls), GameCube Controllers, or Classic Controllers.

Oh, one of the playable characters must be a hot woman, and an elevator level/sublevel is mandatory.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

i would quit making wiiware games and make a nes game that would sell a brunch!!! now that we are in the modern time

Kingbuilder

I would make a 2D side-scrolling version of Super Mario Galaxy.

Olorin

I would port some classic pc games if I was able to legally do that. Or I'd make a parody game called "Kingdom Farts: the Legend of Smellda". Brand recognition would boost sales in both cases.

KaiserGX

I would make a 2D side scroller about a mouse named Mauz.

Able to go to 10 different planets on his UFO. Each boss you fight is actually a different game genre. Such as fighting a factory dropping creates with a crane on a puzzle like way. Creating chains will cause it to explode and do damage to the factory. Also an RPG Battle, Shoot Em Up, Race, DDR Like game, Beat Em Up ect. Also the Boss isn't always at the end of the stage. It could randomly show up anytime during the game. Each stage has a different art style.

Also he can wear different hats that make him do different things. Not like Kirby, it's literally a hat. You buy hats at a store in the first planet using coins you get in the main game. Such as a General Hat that changes your movelist. With the General hat your able to use a gun, cause enemies to line up in a straight row, and use the tank in certain levels.

The story? A couple of your friends are over at the arcade playing these slick games. Maus comes in and tells the story of his adventure and it was actually his journey that these games were based on. When you beat the game you can replay any boss stage in the arcade, with high-scores and new objectives. There will be note's from challengers on the Wii Message Board saying things like, Beat my highscore or try beating the shooting game without getting any power ups. Doing so will unlock a couple things like alternate songs, characters, able to switch the art style from any stage and receive Maus comics! (Yeah Mauspek is a comic series I do)

I take back my detailed plans for WiiWare sales domination and will leave you with the most important bits for success.
1) Create a community based content generator.
2) Offer discounts based on referral by others that own the game.
3) Give everyone at NintendoLife a free copy.

What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.

Dude, do it. It'd be awesome. If I had WarioWare DIY I'd check out your game =D

If I wanted to get money, I'd make a game that promises instant $$$ for people that send me their golds.
