3. Posted: Sun 24th May 2009 10:14 BST WARNING SPOILERS: Inspect the crack in the house, where the guy is in. He gives you the Rusty Key. This key can be used to unlock the Power Room. In the Power Room is a robot that offers to create an explosive for you with which the hut with the guy can be opened. To create the explosive it tells you that it needs three items: Jellyfish Juice, Charcoal and Gum Base. The Jellyfish Juice can be simply acquired by defeating the Big Jellyfish (as you should know by now). It always drops another one for you each time you defeat it. With the Jellyfish Juice in hand, you can get the Charcoal in Santa's House (at the fireplace) right at the beginning of this grassy area. After that you need to get another Jellyfish Juice for the robot in the Power Room. For the Gum Base you have to talk again to the guy in the locked hut. He agrees that explosives might open the door and gives you the Gum Key. Now make your way to the right until you reach the end of the area where a building is, that can be unlocked with the gum key. In there is the gum base. Bring the three items back to the robot, let it create the explosive for you and go to the locked house where the guy is in. Boom! 5. Posted: Tue 26th May 2009 00:53 BST Yes, there are three possible endings. But the Grasstown thing is (as far as I know) always the same, no matter which ending you are aiming for: You need to let the robot create the explosive and get the guy out of the hut, otherwise the plot doesn't continue. Which ending you'll get will be determined much later in the game. The "bad" and the "normal" ending can be always achieved. Whether you achieve the "best" ending, depends on subsequent circumstances when you get the Booster and even later in the Boss Battle against The Core (and some other things that you dont't have to worry about right now). Why do you think, that you don't get the right ending? What's wrong? |

7. Posted: Tue 26th May 2009 03:42 BST Hint: Don't get on the dragon. I did the same thing my first time. It's really a hilarious way to end a game, giving you a choice that as a gamer you know you aren't supposed to choose, but most people will try anyway just to see what the guy says... and lo and behold, you can actually abandon your quest, leave the island, and end the game without playing some of the best areas! It seemed like a non-choice, one of those questions that no matter how you answer, the guy will say something, and then the same event will happen (if you follow that), but it's not. 9. Posted: Tue 26th May 2009 04:31 BST I noticed the Balrog thing the second time I played through. I get a kick out of things like that. You expect the answer you choose to simply produce different dialog, but you can actually skip the first boss and the later areas of the game by giving dumb answers. |

11. Posted: Tue 26th May 2009 05:10 BST From your previous posts, I thought you were still in Grass Town.
You don't need to play through a second time to get the normal ending. Just load your save game after watching the bad ending and ignore Kazuma or say "no" when he asks you to escape with him on the dragon, then continue in the Outer Wall area. You only need to save Curly Brace if you want the best ending. |

13. Posted: Wed 27th May 2009 09:56 BST I assume that you are now in the plantation area? After Mrs. Sakamoto and Itoh have finished the rocket, talk to her again and you get your Booster back. In addition, she takes back the Mimiga costume. Note: You need to equip the Booster again in the inventory. |
