Bonsai Barber is a great suggestion, and so is Swords and Soldiers. Personally, I would suggset Bubble Bobble Plus though... it's a great game for one or two people!
(Also, it's funny how people are so stereotypical about what girls will/won't like to play. I always thought they just liked good games - you know, liked everyone else does...)

lots of girls are more receptive than you'd think. my girlfriend loves playing games with me, and as i posted back around Christmas even spent about 3 months cross-stitching me an 8-bit Smash Bros. portrait. you just gotta find a girl who cares about you, and then slowly introduce her to your hobby. girls are people just like we are, so don't be surprised that she may enjoy gaming with you.
