Mario bros, I loved it on the Super Mario Advance Yoshis island, but the NES versions too different and unfun, I'm glad I got the version I like for free on my 3DS

Super Monkey Ball DS.
That or the majority of 3DS launch games.

EDIT: Just realized this is for WiiWare...why is everyone saying non-WiiWare stuff?! xD

Ah, I see. When this topic shows up on the main page header, it just says "Games you regret buying five minutes after purchase", and nothing else. It looked like a more general topic when I saw it there.

I think because the odds that someone bought a Wiiware that they wanted to get and that it sucked in 5 minutes and didn't change is unlikely.

That and no one cares about Wiiware anymore, La Mulana and Retro City Rampage aside. We're past that flawed introduction to Nintendo and indie gaming.

Art Style: Picopict. I hated it at first. It was as hard, annoying and frustrating as hell! But then it grew on me, and I began to love it! Now I'm stuck again...

Currently playing: Rhythm Heaven, Minecraft (XBLA), Pokemon B/W 2, Halo 4, The Denpa Men: They Came By Wave, Fallblox, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (GCN)

Will be playing soon: Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Cave Story +, Wii U: NSMBU, Nintendo Land, (And lots more!)

Tales in a Box: Hidden Shapes in Perspective from DSiWare: The concept and art style looked awesome, the game mechanics are practically broken and render the game near unplayable. Might work better with gyro controls, but it doesn't work properly at all with the DSI/3DS internal camera. :(

Trip World on 3DS VC. Looked great, stunk to high heaven and had virtually no challenge. I haven't played it sice I first downloaded it.

As far as retail games go...Shinobi on 3DS. I've tried persevering with it, but I still think it's an awful, poorly designed game.

Surprised at the hate for Metroid: Other M...I really enjoyed it for what it was.

I have a ton of wiiware games and enjoy the vast majority of them, but that musketeers game was just awful imo.

Wild Guns.

Then I learned how to play and enjoy it.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

Dead Space 1 and 2 on Steam, because the first seems to be a terrible port and the second still includes additional DRM (not sure if it's a bad console port as well).

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Every now and then, I'll go back to it to see if my opinion will change on that game, and it just won't. It just isn't in the same league as the other Fire Emblem games.
That Tales game that came out on PSP in the west wasn't something I could get the hang of. The lack of a real story kept me from caring to play the rest of the game.
Ys 6 (forget the subtitle). Those loading times were so atrocious that I couldn't stand to play it after 5 minutes. Shame too, since I've loved all the other Ys games (although I haven't played 5. Plan to someday).

Best thread ever

I know I'm probably one of the only ones but I regret purchasing Gunman Clive I hate having to use the Y and B buttons I would prefer using A and B or at least haveing a choice to use the A or Y buttons along with B.
