on nintendo's part its a smart move to protect people from bad people online while still having fun playing with people you do not know in a safe way while working to get a online ranking and compete with some of the best uno players in the world

lol, I don't even know how to play UNO at the moment. But I understand that they want to protect us from bad people. It's just annoying to register FC's and find a game where people have WiiSpeak.

we need people who work at nintendo to watch the online community so nothing bad happens. so they could just play uno on wii ware and check to make shure everyone is safe.

I would like Nintendo to pay me to play online. I would keep the children safe and report cheaters. That would be a great job.

That's probably true, but this won't work with strangers. You need to have registered the person as a Wii friend in order to use Wii Speak with them. Whether or not you've traded UNO codes shouldn't be relevant. The UNO friend code is for hosting a game to play with friends a la Tetris Party or Dr. Mario online.

I'll be online tomorrow, afternoon so if any friends I've registered with Wii Speak are on I'm still keen to try it!
