Hey @InvisibleTune, have you made this purchase yet? It looks like a very enjoyable arcade retro title. It only consists of 30 levels. I know it's only $5, but that seems slightly short for my taste. I'm otherwise very interested in escapeVektor. Let me know what you think if you download this in the future. (<:By the way, I just downloaded 3D Pixel Racing yesterday and that purchase was partially based on your recommendation. I have to say I'm enjoying it as well and you were right, it's not to be passed up at only 500 pts.

Hey Nnooo, does escapeVeKtor consist of 30 levels in it's entirety or are there unlockable levels as well? I'm asking, because NL has informed us that there are 40 achievements in all. If escapeVektor does well, how long will it be before you guys finish chapter 2 and will it feature the same retro style arcade gameplay?

There are 30 levels each with 4 medals (bronze, silver, gold and platinum) for getting certain scores or times. There are also stars for each level if you can complete it without using detonate (very hard later on).
There is also a bonus world with bonus levels for owning Pop and future versions of escapeVektor.
You are correct in that there are 40 achievements and we are currently hard at work on chapter 2 which we are trying our hardest to get out late this year/early next (as well as trying to get Spirit Hunters Inc done too!). The graphics and gameplay in the other chapters are very similar however each chapter will feature new enemy types, new levels (obviously) and more use of the timed and eraser modes!

What do you mean by "for owning Pop and future versions of escapeVektor." Does that mean you can't play them? And what is Spirit Hunters Inc? Also, will the following chapters of escapeVektor be priced so reasonably as well?

There is a hidden bonus world which unlocks based on owning our other software so the only way to get these particular levels is by owning Pop. Future chapters will also open up other bonus levels in this chapter and in subsequent chapters.

Thank you Nnooo and just to let you know I just purchased escape VeKtor chapter 1 a few minutes ago. I'm glad your company is pricing these titles so reasonably. I think that's awesome and if I enjoy chapter 1 as much as I think I will, I'll definitely be downloading any and every additional chapter. Keep up the good work their at Nnooo, it's amazing the amount of work your company is achieving with such a limited crew.

I've progressed to the 4th level so far and I'm enjoying the gameplay. But I'm not too satisfied with how responsive the controls are. When I try to switch my path around the cells it doesn't seem to administer my D-pad commands, which has allowed me to be caught by the patrollers over and over. This has already become a serious annoyance. Should I try holding down on the D-pad or am I already performing correctly? If I am doing it correctly then there's a serious issue with the controls that really needs to be addressed. )<:

I guess this might be due to the slightly unresponsive D-pad on the WiiMote. I'll give my Classic Controller Pro a try the next time I play.

@WiiAboutU Press and hold down the D-pad in the direction you want to go before you reach the junction. This will direct Vektor correctly.

Thanks Bruce, that's what I figured afterwards. I was too frustrated to think clearly at the time I was playing, so that conclusion wasn't deduced. I will give it a shot and I'll let you know how it goes. (<:

Glad the 3d pixel racing rec worked for you wiiaboutu. Downloaded escapevektor today. Love it. Controls work fine. Very addictive gameplay. Agree with the excellent reviews and highly recommend this one without reservation.

Only 5 bucks and great reviews. I guess I'll have to get this game. I didn't find the trailers to be very appealing though. Maybe it's more exciting when you are actually playing it.

Don't get it Zach it if doesn't seem appealing to you, because if you've seen the trailers then your really not missing out on anything. I purchased it because it has simple but very engaging gameplay. (<:(If I were you then I'd just save the points for the Moto Heroz DLC.)
