i really want it cause i keep talking about it so im ssoooooooooo stoked to play it

I'm all about it too. Though it seems like it's not much of a single player game and I don't know a lot of people my age who give a crap about video games so it's sort of torturous to get great local multiplayer games. I may just have to keep it on my list of games to get only when I have enough people actually there in the house to play it.
Sucks cause I also just got this massive screen tv and this game is ideal for that. I remember playing 4 player on the NES version back in the day with friends and it was really a blast. I think that version had nitros in it, this one doesn't if I remember correctly, but with eight players that only seems fair.

I think it works well single player, it's just that you don't get as many play modes.

It has very bad controls in my opinion.
Constant 360º's only by looking at the controller is what I have experienced.
Disapointed on this one as I was expecting easy controls same as Ironman's OffRoad.

if u dont get use to the control quite quick then u will hate it and never play it agien

I'm so happy we FINALLY got it today! Can't wait to starting playing it.

@Sean: So is there enough to single player to warrent buying it? What's single player like exactly? How many levels or tracks in single.
Anyone at all buy this who plays by themselves? Is the single player satisfying? Is the ending?

I've been getting used the controls rather quickly. Don't get why others have been supposedly having trouble early on.

KS8- You playing single player. I'm wanting to know if its worth getting for single player.

Single player is pretty decent; especially since you can play a couple of the multi-player games with one player and use AI for the rest (meteor is my fave). Not sure what you mean by an ending though, this is basically an arcade racing game like Super Sprint -- there's no story and you don't upgrade your cars. Just try to come in first and get the trophies!

@longtimegamer: So far, yes, I've been playing it by myself.

Looks like Super Offroad, which is a fun game so I will probably consider a download in the future, but it better use regular controls (dpad style).
