I got a reply e-mail...it was indeed a technical problem on Nintendo's end, and has been fixed.

As for the game itself...I just spent an hour with it, and there's really nothing left to do far as I can tell. I won all three matches (though the last one took some practice), and even found a weird easter egg (hint: it involves Doc's chocolate bar)! Good, but short. It does make me want to get back to playing the retail Punch-Out!!, which I never finished, so that's good, right?:D

My Backloggery Not currently in use, really. Never fully updated it, and probably never will unless I can FINALLY get a computer.
Also, all PSN/XBL friend requests without self-identifying messages will be deleted. I'm sick of asking who people are.

I got my code earlier and had no problems downloading (sorry to all of you who did), played it through and found it to be a fun (though short, but I was expecting that) experience. Of course, it helps that Doc Louis is my favorite character, so having a little sparring match with him was like a dream come true.

All right Mac baby...ding ding. Doc Louis is sooooo awesome...

Does this game save any progress at all? I played earlier and got to the 3rd section, but didn't get past it. I played again later and I had to play through it all again. Is that how the game is or is my game glitched?

I'll boot it up again later to find out, AENIGMA. I assumed it would save progress, but...hmm. Your experience doesn't sound too encouraging as far as that goes.

I haven't even gotten my email yet, but living in Canada I assume it'll be 2 weeks late like every service in Canada.

I haven't gotten the email either! Oh noes! I wonder how long I should wait before I start some shizzle.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.

No, the game does not save progress. I read that in the manual before I played the game. It's not hard at all to unlock the sparring round again anyway, so I guess it's okay. Weird, but not a big deal.

I have to say, I screamed in delight when Doc first broke out the Star Punch...and promptly dropped me to the mat in one shot. Yeowch, I felt that one through the TV... D:

"I invented this punch! whack Learned your lesson yet, Mac?"

I thought it was...okay until the easter egg. Then it became totally worth it.
EDIT: Beating Doc was one of the most satisfactory video game moments in recent memory.

I love when you finally figure out how to dodge the star punch (it IS possible), and he winds up saying "I invented...Wow!" He invented World of Warcraft? Shame on you, Doc Louis!:D

I can dodge it... I just can't figure out how to earn any stars of my own!

Same. I had a great time almost giving him a heart attack.
