I just got the e-mail as well. I just checked my Club Nintendo account and my coins are gone!!! I should have 340 but all I have now are 20 coins. It happened at "Shipped - Doc Louis's Punch Out!!" in the Coin Transaction History. Does anyone else have the same missing coins problem?
It should say 0 next to the "shipment" transaction. You aren't charged for a virtual shipment. I wasn't, at least. I still have all my coins. Make sure you're reading the first column's digits, not the last column's, which is your total amount of coins after the transaction.
Got my email, will be downloading this and LW2 this weekend

From the e-mail: "Your unique download ticket is available by clicking on the following link and logging into your Club Nintendo account. The link will also include detailed directions on how to use your unique download ticket."
Just like is says, follow the link (which takes you to Club Nintendo), log in and it will take you to a page with your unique download ticket #. Then just follow the rest of the instructions.

I did that, but all that came up was the reward order inquiry page, with no useful information, such as directions, or even any codes.

I'm not sure what the problem might be. Did anyone else log in to your account (anyone who has access to your e-mail)? I just tried to log back in, with the link in the e-mail, and it took me to the Reward Order Inquiry page. I'm not sure if it's because I already downloaded the game or not (it says Status: Completed on my Reward Order Inquiry page). You may have to contact Nintendo.

Just e-mailed them now. I hope that they will e-mail me back my code or something like that.
I got my e-mail, but I can't sign in on Club Nintendo from the PS3 browser. Looks like I have to go to the basement to give this a go...I'll post how it goes in a bit, since people seem to be having trouble.
EDIT: Aw, crap...I'm having the same problem. The link in the e-mail takes me straight to the "Reward Order Inquiry" page, and it claims my order is completed. I think they probably did a crappy job of making sure we all got unique download codes, and since someone else already used the one I was sent (and same for others having this problem), it thinks I have my game. If Nintendo gets enough e-mails about this, they're bound to realize the mistake and fix it. One e-mail from me, coming right up...
This is so frustrating!! I got the email, followed the link, clicked retrieve code on reward inquiry page, and to my disappointment, NO CODE! I called Nintendo and they insist that the download ticket MUST be in my email and reward inquiry but it simply isn't! Now I have to wait for some Nintendo person to call and help me sometime within the next 48 hours! It sounds like others are having similar problems. Come on Nintendo! I want my game!
