I finally got this game a few days ago. Been having fun with it...till I started having to play the snowy field with Shieva and her other 2 buddys Butt Kicker and A** Stomper. The games fun and addicting, but I've been playing that last level for hours. I was trying to get it perfect, but then I thought I'd just get through it and come back and try to get it perfect later. I guess even that will take awhile, unless I quit trying to run all the way through without saving. I will get it eventually.
If anyone has questions about this game, feel free to ask. Thanks for the feedback from the people who had already played this game. By the way, I think it's worth the money.
is the game easy to master? and are the production values good? i thought about buying that game but i was saving m points in case Cave Story, SSB, or Majora's Mask comes out soon
@Irken004- Yea, it's simple to learn. The difficulty wasn't too hard at first, but its got challenging at the end. Production values? The graphics are decent. I like seeing the big characters go by. Nothing real fancy ( Gameboy advance type/super Nintendo?) Musics alright, but nothing stands out. If you want a game with an epic story however.......this wont be the one.
Have you ever played a Tower defense game? I tried a version of Desktop tower defense before I tried this. I liked that and I like this. By the way this has RPG (strategy rpg) characters and you can level them up (ala rpgs) with the coins you get, but don't think it's an rpg or you might be disappointed.
I'm looking forword to seeing how high I can get my scores for the online leaderboard. That's going to provide some replay value.

i've seen my friends at school play tower defense games, but i haven't tried one myself, and i like GBA/SNES style graphics =)
Well I bought this a couple a days ago, sometime Tuesday and todays Thursday, I'm not counting Wednesday though. I'm not sure, but I bet I've put in at LEAST 12 hours. I didn't really time it, so don't quot me on it. I think it depends on how you play it and how good you are. If I just played to beat it without worrying about getting perfect (You have to get perfect/ no crystals lost to open the last stage) I think I probably would have finished the 12 levels by now. Also if you like trying to get high scores then you'll probably invest more time into it too.

o well that's longer than i expected!
i'll definitely try downloading this on Monday (unless a different awesome game is released on that same day) thnx 4 the info =)
@Irken004 - Some person from IGN says that they got a perfect in a couple hours, though I believe this person loves to play tower defense games, so maybe that's why it took them so little time. Another person on thevreview page here was playing this and thought they might be able to finish this in 4 or five hours, I believe. Just figured I'd tell you this so that you have a better idea how long it could take. If you get it tell me what you think about it, ok?
Edit- Might be a good idea to check the comments on the review page and in the Wiiware forum there's info from others on 2 other questions I had before I got this. If you need more info.

@Toddr - LOL. I just noticed your comment. Well I plan on beating it eventually. That horse thing on that last stage was really cruisin. He's going to be a pain in the butt.
@longtimegamer, I finally decided to get this on Monday as well, and I'm to the 8th stage (if i remember correctly). been playing a couple of stages each day trying to get perfects. overall I think it's a great game to have some laid back fun with and worth the money. I'm sure R2 won't be so laid back
@Stratocastx - If the 12th level is any indication of the difficulty level of R2 it's definitely not going to be a walk in the park. R1's convinced me to get R2. I finally just beat the 12th level. I was trying to get perfects for awhile and decided just to finish it. Now I'm going to try to get perfects on the ones I need to open level 13. Yea. It was definately worth it. Very easy to keep playing one more game.
I finally got all perfects yesterday to unlock level 13. The last three or four levels were EXTREMELY difficult for me to get perfects on, and I'm somewhat experienced in tower defense (played a lot of it in WC3).
I've had a TON of fun with this game and the satisfaction of perfecting a level that you've been unable to for many attempts is unparalleled IMO.
And of course they bring out R2 today, when I have one more level (the hardest?) left in R1
Okay, this is driving me crazy -- I thought time mages were supposed to do no damage but slow opponents. I swear my time mages do damage and do not slow opponents at all. Can someone explain to me exactly what is supposed to happen with these guys? Clearly these pieces are supposed to be valuable but even at level 4 they are no better than a level 1 mage, doing a tiny amount of damage with no "slow" effect that is perceptible to me at least...
I haven't beaten R1 or R2 yet. I'm pretty close for both. For R2, I'm at the second stage of the White levels at the end of my map. White Pudding enemies tick me off, I swear.
@Madge: They DO slow them down notably on Level 4. But there's HUGE strength in numbers.
