Pixel's game Cave Story was a great success on WiiWare and DSiWare, now Nintendo needs to recognize other retro computer games such as Commander Keen ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commander_Keen ) and give them a nudge towards their consoles!

Would be definitely cool if someone decided to put these classic games on WiiWare, DSiWare or 3DS Ware. Maybe even update the graphics a little for some of the earlier, pale-looking games of the series. And release other classics like Duke Nukem 2, the Jack Jazzrabbit games, Halloween Harry (aka Alien Carnage) and many many many LucasArts Adventure games too.

a new commander keen would be awesome. So would a sequel to Hocus Pocus; that game was so cool. Halloween Harry is ripe for a modern remake given the climate of games.
EDIT: in fact any apogee game would be cool

Alien Carnage is already completely freeware now thanks to Apogee.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Yes Commander keen was awesome. Would love to play those games again. Also the original Duke Nukem games and Captain Comic. Awesome times.
From the wiki, I've noticed that the CK games are on steam, so hopefully someone can port them to the consoles. I'd buy them (buying them on Steam too ).

I did too as soon as I read the wiki.

Commander Keen is great! I deeply love those games. Many fond childhood memories related with them.
