I'll be buying the game and posting a review next week(well more like within a week). I love the art style already.
Cool, we are looking forward to it! Where will you post it then, in this thread?
I'm definitely considering this, as I'm sure it has potential, but I don't have many other gamer friends nowadays and I'll almost always be confined to the single player mode. Hmm...
Well, we think the Pro Mode is pretty challenging and interesting for Single Player though. And maybe chick chick BOOM will help convincing your non-gamer friends to play more video games

Just put a link to it into your sig, Oregano; that way more people will be able to see what you're saying than just people posting in this topic. :3

I got my copy and I've just been playing it. It's really cool! The graphics are great, the whole thing's really well-presented and polished. Definitely gonna have to get some multiplayer going at some point, but it's a lot of fun in single player too. It's easy to learn but really fun and frantic to play, especially when you're trying to balance fending off a giant hungry plant with sketching the UFO pattern to get enemy chicks abducted before they abduct yours, and playing furious tennis with a chick piñata for a handy power-up. DEFINITELY worth getting, it's crazy and tons of fun.If you guys make a sequel, some new stages/special weapons would be cool, and maybe some Wi-Fi multiplayer too

Oh yeah you where one of the winners huh. I'm still waiting for it to come to US.

Finally got around to doing my review, a lot later than I said I would. http://www.gaminggauge.com/?p=81
I really enjoy the game and it is a lot more enjoyable with friends, but it's still fun to go on single player from time to time. The main downside is the small amount of levels but I imagine making the special attacks for the stages is quite hard work. I wouldn't really mind a sequel which merely added content.but I definitely want MOAR!

For now we will announce this hot news in this thread, but I guess we might open one separate later...time is short...there ya go:
This year our online flash advent calendar "Mission in Snowdriftland" with 24 levels of Jump 'n' Fun will run under the "INDIE GAMES EDITION". We contacted some of the best Indie Game Developers and asked for exclusive downloads after each level. The feedback was very positive, so that we gathered an impressive list of participants.
At the time of this announcement already participating:
tons of bits (chick chick BOOM)Akaoni Studio (Zombie Panic in Wonderland)Broken Rules (And Yet It Moves)Gajin Games (Bit.Trip)Press Play (Max and the Magic Marker)Ronimo Games (Swords & Soldiers)Spaces Of Play (Spirits)Over the Top Games (NyxQuest)
We will contact further quality Indie Game Developers to increase the amount of exclusive downloads for the calendar. But we think that the list of participants is already eyecandy for every Indie Games Fan, isn't it?
I am posting the URL for the calendar here again:

Hi guys!, i have been waiting for this game, finally i downloaded the game today and i gotta say it´s a great game. I was playing almost an hour and a half in single player mode and it was very fun, i think Chick Chick BOOM is as good as Dr. Mario, Tetris or Yoshi. I´d like if you could do some DLC such as new arenas or attacks that would be fantastic. Congratulations for this game.

I downloaded this and have been enjoying the game, but I'm disappointed by the single player mode. There doesn't appear to be any logical advancement. There are three difficulty levels to play at, but you don't work through defeating each of the different teams and the teams don't get progressively more challenging. In fact, there appears to be no difference between any of the teams. This hurts the replayability for me, and doesn't give me an incentive to compete for anything. The gameplay is great, but I'm left wondering what to do next in single play mode since it's just the same thing over and over again at 3 difficulty settings.
Would have been nice if teams had different strengths and weaknesses and if teams got progessively more difficult or there was some sort of tournament competition in single player mode... as it is, you choose your team and you choose your opponent and then only compete against that team for a set number of wins or a set time.
The gameplay is quite addictive though. It just seems like the single player is lacking a bit. Even so, I still recommend the game.
