Only got to play Epiphany and have to do homework after this, but man that was awesome! Also, the cutscenes deeply confused me, which I will discuss in the spoiler thread after I beat the game.

I'm thinking there is no special ending. It's a kind of sudden way of ending it sure, but it was a solid and fitting ending to one of the best game series ever.

It was indeed which is why I'm no longer looking for this ending but apparently it is there...

OHMYGODTHESEBOSSESARESOAWESOMANDSOWHATTHE! Like when that second boss reverses? or how that irst boss is a combination of the second and third bosses from BEAT?

I did not once make it above Mega in my entire first playthrough of the game. I have yet to get to a second playthrough, but yeah.

I wasn't really impressed with the bosses in this game.

It will get better, believe me, practice!

I have a stupid habit. Stay 5 minutes in META, score over 100 000 000, and then, play so bad that you have to reset >.< .

I replayed the first level and spent a fair bit of time in ultra (and I think Extra, but by the time i was there I was concentrating so much on the beats I couldn't see what mode I was in)

Then again, most won't even realize what happens when they do hit that trigger. The trigger just shows the games ending, if a person never sees it, then they'll be waiting for a while.

I got to meta twice in one go of Epiphany today, and the highest I've gotten in the other two levels is extra.

i honestly have to agree. they were much, much easier than the ones in Beat, and i suck at Pong and Breakout so hard it's not even funny, so i was pretty much howling at the screen in frustration during the final boss. at least i got past it, but still... i get that they were trying to make it something playable in one sitting, but at least the second boss was something completely fresh, y'know? :/

the rest of the game was awesome, though, IMO. :3

Initially i was very disapointed with FLUX, I beat it rather quickly on my first sitting. After a couple of days though it comes out on top. Current trip favourites: FLUX, CORE, RUNNER, BEAT, VOID and FATE.

The more I play FLUX the more I like it better than Beat. Still.....RUNNER is my fav!!!

@bezerker Have you beaten it? It even topped RUNNER for me after that ending (once I understood it).
