I am home.

Corbie said there were surprises... so far I just see backwards BEAT (which, mind you, might be my favorite in the series, so I'm not complaining) with a few really impressive beat patterns.

I just see some really weird message about the afterlife.

Some things I saw in the trailer:
-The word "Frustration" at 0:23
-I saw the letters LIFE at 0:30 (they're very large).
-Special grey bonus beat at 0:27 at the bottom.
-(at 0:33) every beat is worth 100 000 in challenges.
-Not entirely sure: 3 mistakes in Meta ==> Giga
-The part at 1:05 is probably nether mode gameplay
-If we ever want to get into Meta, we have to collect A LOT of beats.
-Multiplier:
Nether/hyper:1
Mega:10
Super:20
Ultra:50
Extra:100
Giga:200
Meta:500 (+ 1 for every multi +)

I'm still not entirely sure how the "series" will work... Anyway, I guess that's the new information I got now.

OH MY GOODNESS THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!

So it's not coming next week..... I was hoping it would since it's school vacation week and I would have plenty of time to play it (plus the sooner the better...), but I guess I'll settle for the following Monday, I hope the teachers ease us back into school and I don't have too much homework.... but I know that won't happen.

I am still at school and having some stupid study-hour in a classroom with computers. I am completely bored. Still 40 minutes left before I can leave, I need an hour to get home. Then, I can finally play it. Will post my thoughts once I complete first stage.

I managed to stay in Meta for 1 second yahoooo!
First time I played Epiphany, I felt ashamed! I have been training the last month to get ready for FLUX, and only could get to super first time I played Epiphany. I also died at the boss the first time.
It takes 80 beats to get from hyper to mega. Epiphany was comfortable easy after 1st time. Perception's boss is not normal anymore! The boss is getting through waves of round beats, there isn't any normal beat, so no possibility to get a mode up.

Thanks for the impressions invmat, I won't really have the option to "not stop playing" since NOA releases WiiWare games on MONDAYS!!!!! So of course, I'll have hours and hours of homework to do. Maybe I'll download and play a little right when I get home....

I have beaten the third level. The boss was hard, but....

Game over? After all that work? I knew that last part after the score display would be important in some way, so I returned all the beats, however... I simply could not see those final beats because the screen was totally white. I tried to hold the paddle in the middle, just to be sure. I could hear a few beats touching the paddle...

I think there must be the twist here. We need to find out what the trigger is.

Also, I managed to get to META! managed to stay there for about 3 seconds. xD

I also keep noticing previous level names. I've already seen TENACITY and SUPER EGO

I like that there's so much difference between the modes. In FATE it almost didn't matter, but in FLUX...

I noticed the level names too! I've seen a lot of them, including FLUX own level names in a different level!
Did you also notice the name " _ I _ " on the Catharsis High Scores? Maybe we have to do something with that.

I have indeed seen that Game Over image. There's something I find deeply compelling and unusual about FLUX. When I'm playing any other BIT.TRIP game, I get into a "zone" so to speak, yet I feel like I would playing any other game. But playing FLUX, I feel... different, almost as if I am totally zoned out... Incredible.

Also, with regards to that I thing, if on that final final epilogue level, you read the first eight digits that appear, they read 01001001, which is binary for "I"

Tomorrow I beat Epiphany with 60 000 000 . I could stay in Meta for almost a minute or so (got 3 times Multi+)
EDIT: scratch that and make 110 000 000 of that.

Just beat epiphany with 73 000 000 and i start to consider Flux as the best of the series...
