@ReddLionz You're very welcome! Glad to be of service. Also, it has been confirmed that the last 3 BIT.TRIP games (RUNNER, FATE, and ????) will be 800 points each.
There are no words to describe how amazing that looks. It'll be hard to out-do Runner (also my favorite WiiWare game in addition to being my favorite Bit.Trip) but I think this can pull it off. And if it can, then I will already start being excited for the sixth and final Bit.Trip game.
"Oooh, yes I said it! I said it! I said it 'cause I caaan!" My Backloggery
When I was first watching the trailer, I didn't get what the bits that were being shot around were for. They appeared to be going right through him, which wasn't hurting him but also wasn't helping him. But after another watch I noticed that whenever a bit came close to Commander Video, there would be a red glow on his chest..... his heart I would assume. So I guess he can't be hit there, and that's the only way they hurt him.

It's just like bullet hell shooters that have the tiny hitbox on the ship. Where only bullets that hit the very center of the ship will hurt or destroy it. Same principle with this game. It has to hit his little "+" heart.
This is exactly what I was hoping they'd make... and even cooler. I love the rail concept, I love that we can use the pointer and not just fire straight ahead, and I love that the hit box is visible. I also love everything else and Gaijin and Bit Trip in general and wow.
Thanks for the link. Only news, at least to me, was how the health system works. So you basically have five health, represented by the different modes, Nether, Mega, Super, Ultra, and Giga, and you can regain health by scoring a certain number of points. Sounds pretty neat. I'm glad that score actually means something again. In the first three, I never really cared, but I cared in Runner because I wanted bonus levels, and it seems important here, too.
With the hit box that small its looking like this should be fairly manageable. Then again I've thought that about each new bit.trip game before they crushed my soul and laughed at me for attempting to beat them.
Awesome! That is exactly what I figured the game would have, but I thought Corbie had said no multi-player. Either I'm imagining things or (gasp) he lied to me?!
