Topic: Best online multiplayer game?

I'm looking for something easy to pick up and play. The purpose is something that my g/f and I can enjoy while she's at her home and I'm here at mine. The best ones I could think of are Tetris and Dr Mario but if there's others you can suggest, please do. We're open to any genre.

Animal Crossing: CF is my favorite "girlfriend" game. It'd be a lot better if I actually had a girlfriend.

That's a great choice. I will consider BB as it's on one of our Wiis so I'd only have to buy it one more time.

The poker games not bad, though there appears to be glitches in it at times. the main game characters are not the most attractive either (Though when playing online everyone has miis.

I think that one is only 500 points and I do have 500 points left on this Wii. She'd just have to buy it on her Wii. It'll really come down to what she wants to play.

I don't have a points limit to spend. I'm open to any game, even if we have to buy it on both our Wiis. So that pool game has online multiplayer? I didn't know that. I'm seriously considering BB but I'm not sure how familiar she is with Bomberman games.

For now we decided on Dr. Mario and Tetris Party. I'll talk her into Bomberman Blast once I show it to her. Thanks for your suggestions.

This is one reason why I think it's a shame that the Wiiware Bubble Bobble was not online. It would have been a great girlfriend/boyfriend game.

If there's offline co-op like the original NES game then we could play it when we visit each other. How is Bubble Bobble for WiiWare? I think I heard you can't save?

I haven't got it yet as I already have the VC version. I'm sure you can play offline co-op and there are more levels but I don't know about the save feature. That would suck.

Excitebots and Grand Slam Tennis are amazing online.

You save your records and stuff (your file) but you cant save during gameplay, so you cant be at level 50 and come back to it later, in regular mode there is 100 levels and takes about an hour, in super mode there is a hundred more levels, but yeah you dont need to get to level one hundred in each sitting. but overall its good and at 600/800 (depending were you live)points its a steal.
