Controls are the worst... **** I have ever... and the music repeats... when you start and it says "GO!" and "CHECKPOINT" sounds like someone recorded them out home with his mic. So much damn... failure... there's some good modes for 500 points but the controls suck so much ***! It's like an automatic drift thing... and it's a heavy drift! I swirl and swirv AGHHH I'm gonna go cry right now.
Edit: btw Wiimote on it's side.... tilt control... only option.
Can't even press + to pause... you have to press - AND +. This game is *** through a straw. I am going to pretend I bought FF3 for 500 points because my friend gave me 1000 points for me to get it a couple weeks ago.

Really if the controls were actually playable this would be good. There's a cop pursuit mode, capture the flag, time trials and Champion Ship. But aghh! Maybe I just suck at it right now... but at the moment... I don't recommend it at all. I feel so sad...

Too bad to hear that. I really was intrigued by this game. If it gets a bad review by NL as well, I'll save up my points to get FAST Racing League instead.

The game's not all that bad. The controls are a bit tricky, but with all games, the controls will hopefully get better the more you play the game. I'll have to rummage around for my Mario Kart Wheel and see if that helps any.

The game kind of reminds me of the ChoroQ/Penny Racers/Gadget Racers/Road Trip games (minus the car customization), so if you like those games, you may like this.

BTW the game is only 45 Blocks.

I have been using the wheel. You have the game too? Hopefully.. I HOPE it's just getting use to the controls because that's the only thing that's bringing it down for me. As I said there some neat modes for 500 points. Graphic are cool, and the pit mechanic,

Yep, bought the game. I'm having fun with it so far, but the controls are a bit touchy, causing me to over-steer. I'm going to try lowering the difficulty as well and see if that helps any.

One more thing, you need to follow the track, you can't take obvious shortcuts. If you do, your car will be reset on the track.

That's too bad, I really looked forward to this game (if it ever comes to Europe). But what is wrong with the controls. Didn't get really clear.

It's just like with every other tilt-to-steer Wii game, you need to play the game for a while to get used to them.

... I still can't get into this at all. Let me tell you whats up with the controls. When you turn... it does this long drift... and it has to finish the animation, you can't turn the other way until your turn is done. So you have to wait for that turn for you to have to go straight again.

After playing it for another hour or so, I'm getting the hang of the controls (set the game to easy and used the Wii Wheel). The cars definitely "drift" when taking a corner too fast, almost as if you were playing a Rally Racing game. You just need to compensate and either tap the brake or let off/tap the gas. Luckily, Rally Racing games are my favorite racing games

What are the different modes of play?

I mentioned the break/gas because you said:

Definitely download FAST Racing League before taking any chances on this. In most cases you get what you pay for.

first wiiware game in a long time that really came out of nowhere and interested me!

The game is def. much easier to control from the first person view as the camera does not follow the front of the car in the 3'rd person view (it kind of sticks to the middle of the track). To me the controls are actually pretty good, but they take some time to get used to. Giving the player an option to choose a more conventional camera system would have been nice.

Learing curve aside, so far I've been liking the game and don't regret spending 500 pts yet. I've just played the single race a handful of times but if the tournament can hold my attention then I'd consider it pretty good!

So far my only real complaint about the game thankfully it's not too hard to tell which parts of the road should not be traveled though (at least from what I've seen so far).
