I believe he was refuring the lack of portabilty! I can see where hes coming from with that statement.

The Wii U's version of Call of Duty lacks the size of the community of the other consoles, and is rightfully lacking by comparison.

A full leaderboard is better than an empty one for a game that is all about competing with leaderboards, and so the PS3/ Vita version, which currently has a bigger community now, is better. This can change in the future.

And then there is the cross play and portablility of the Vita version.

The Vita community being bigger does not compute

I saw a Vita once. A long time ago. I've seen two Dodos since then and they're apparently extinct.

It's cross compatible with the PS3 version. Same leaderboards. And so it is way bigger than the Wii U community

Comparing a 7-months old community on a 7-year old system to a 4-days old community on a 2-months old system does indeed compute for some people in a weird way! But it's not fair and borders on ignorance.

Bankai, thankyou for caring, but I don't think I will run out to buy a PS3 and a PSVita for Zen Pinball 2 now. I just bought a Wii U and can play it on there.
Your big PS3 community is just online leaderboards anyway. Wii U's community is Miiverse (as well as online leaderboards) and that is a better community for Zen Pinball 2 imo.

It might not matter for you. But as someone who has both versions I am simply stating that the Wii U game is underwhelming. Fewer tables, less portable, smaller community makes the leaderboards less interesting.

I also did a side-by-side comparison and while the game looks the same on TV regardless of version, the Gamepad's lower DPI means the game looks better on Vita.

It's not enough of a game to go and buy a console for, but if you have both consoles, then it is my recommendation to get the PS3/ Vita version.

It's entirely fair to compare a game to exactly the same game released on other consoles. If it comes out weaker then it comes out weaker.

Fewer tables? I don't think there are 26 tables even on iOS releases of Zen...

Yeah I believe the ps3 has 28 or more tables as a couple might be exclusive. Street Fighter I believe is one of them along with Ninja Gaiden. As for more then that I'm not sure.

What Tech said. There's a couple of licensed tables on the PS version missing from the Wii U.

No great loss with the Street Fighter table, that one is pretty dull.

Ninja Gaiden however is superb. One of the best.

I love zen pinball 2 on my Vita. I will download the demo of zen pinball 2 on my Wii U just to see how it looks and plays on the system, but I likely won't be buying any tables unless they make some Nintendo exclusives.

It's a shame ZP2 isn't on 3DS, my 4 table Marvel pinball feels really lame now compared to this 25 table encounting ZP2.

Who says it won't? The title just launched after all. I expect we'll some kind of update to iron out the kinks before new DLC.

I think it will happen just not right away. After all it was just announced and hasn't even been given a release date yet. I want to see how this table looks as this could be epic!

Just give them time. The game isn't even out yet in North America

I posted this back on Jan 25th. Honestly not sure if they will make that. However, that could be blamed on NoA. Once Zen submits it, there isn't much they can do if NoA drags their feet.
