Well my girlfriend got plants vs zombies and that one is pretty cool. I am leaning towards Captain America or Fantastic Four for my first single table. And then I will get one of the packs soon!

You can't go wrong with either of those two tables. I personally lean towards Fantastic Four since its my favorite of the 4 on the 3ds.

I can definitely tell the difference in quality between the "classics" and the new tables. Epic Quest is really good.

So far (as of today) I have Plants vs Zombies, Civil War, and Epic Quest. Civil War was complicated to figure out but now that I understand it I really like it. Definitely not one to choose if you are short on patience though. Yesterday I had the 2nd highest score in USA but that might have changed, dunno.

Epic Quest is really fun but I have a long ways to go to getting a good score. Plants vs Zombies is great as well. Next up is Captain America, probably get that next week or something. Anyone feel free to shoot me a friend request, NNID in my sig.

For Epic Quest I suggest activating Ball Save before you fight monsters: hit the smash target 3 times to activate Ball Save and get a Skill Shot attempt. Beat a monster and lock the ball in the Princess spinner to get Ball Save again. Once you lock 3 balls in the Princess spinner you'll get a multiball mode where there's a possibility for extra ball and collecting a lot of points. So far I've managed to beat 10 of 12 monsters, but I have trouble engaging the Cave monsters, because I find it really hard to enter the Cave sinkhole for some reason: I've gotten in there a few different ways, but usually without trying, and I can't find a method that works with any reliability. I totally want to beat all those monsters and slay that dragon, more so than getting a high score, lol.

Finally got the highscore on the Tesla table! Scored 60 Million with the first ball, wasted two balls and got 35 Million with the last ball. Upwards and onwards!

Woot, finally completed Epic Quest and scored 260 million!

Now for my next table, I'm considering getting Paranormal. The Plants vs Zombies table seems more popular, but it looks too green.

@iphys - I'm going to have to get one of these to fight your high score at this rate, aren't I?

Thank you for the drawing @I-Hate-Ponies

You should definitely get at least one table to play on your Wii U. I find the tables much clearer to play in HD than on the little 3DS screen, although I do really love the realism of 3D.

@iphys - I suppose but the only one I'm thinking of you don't have :P Seriously though, I rather have them where I'll have the play time with them on my 3DS.

Plants vs Zombies? I was thinking it might look better in 3D to create some contrast for everything being green on the table. If only they'd ever get around to doing 3DS DLC.

Lol. I just posted a topic on the Zen Studios forums today again about this very thing. Last year about in October we were told that they plan to have new content on all platforms by the end of the year. We see where that went.

I don't understand why they wouldn't be keen to do DLC for the 3DS, since way more people have the 3DS than the Wii U even. It's pretty sad that most of the tables on the Wii U don't even have enough scores posted to fill out the top 100 for Canada yet.

Silly as it is I have expect them to make Zen Pinball 3D 2 at this point and let us move our tables to it and have it like the Wii U version.

Does anyone know what the update did? I'm assuming bug fixes, but for what? I've had sound issues with some of the tables and demos in the past, but it comes and goes, so it's hard to say whether that was fixed. Oh, and the leaderboards are still unbelievably slow to access too.
