Will we ever see WiiWare titles on the eShop? I have a collection of WiiWare titles that I would pay to upgrade, much like the VC deal, to have on the Wii U side of the system. Even if they don't get GamePad support, just to bring them onto the Wii U side of the system with a Miiverse community and using Wii U servers for online play instead of Wii servers. I know I am probably in the minority on this. These are the games I would like to see:
LIT
Lost Winds 2
Excitebike World Rally
Robocalypse
And Yet It Moves
Bomberman Blast
Swords and Soldiers
Fluidity
Cave Story
Any of the BIT.Trip games
World of Goo
As far as I know, it's up to the developers to do it. I'm pretty sure many of the studios who made games on wiiware aren't here anymore, and it costs money also.
All Wiiware can be easily transferred to Wii U and you can use the touch screen instead the wiimote to use the pointer or even play with wiimote pointing to the gamepad screen (games like Just Dance can do this).
Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.

Or you could just use your wiimote?

Lets not loose our minds and derail the silly by bringing common sense into this.
I think some WiiWare games would make a lot of sense on the Wii U. World of Goo, Tales of Monkey Island, Strongbad, and Ace Attorney would all work perfectly, especially if re-released in HD. All 4 are either already available in HD on other platforms, or will be soon (Ace Attorney's getting an HD Trilogy on iOS). At least the first three would also benefit from a price drop, since they're available on other platforms for much cheaper than on WiiWare. I think a few other games, like LostWinds, Swords and Soldiers, and Bonsai Barber, would work particularly well too.

So many great games on Wiiware... I'd love sequels too, for example, Nyxquest and Dive: The Medes Islands Secret (this game among others remained wiiware exclusive...)
I would like that. I've been meaning to get Strong Bad ever since I played them on my friend's PC years ago, but I haven't seen any Wii Points cards recently. I would definitely buy some on the eShop.
Hey, could one of the Mods change the title? It states that WiiWare games have been ported rather than should be ported.
I went ahead and changed it. I still want to know your opinion. Do you want WiiWare games to be put on the eShop or are you fine with only accessing them through the Wii Mode?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@DefHalen I'd LOVE it if they had WiiWare games on the Wii U eShop. There are TOO MANY gems in there to be lost when The Wii Shop Channel eventually closes. I imagine when that happens they [Nintendo] will find a way for WiiWare games live past The Shop Channel.
