Nintendo has two charges of $15+ against my bank statement. I'm sure it will be an easy fix I am just happy to have NES remix it is sick.

Nintendo's Customer Service number in North America is: 1-800-255-3700

After all this what surprises me is that why Nintendo is not prepared to deal with the high traffic around this time of the year? I mean, it's obvious a lot of new people would be trying to update their consoles, connect to the Nintendo Network, redeem download codes, add credit, download stuff and everything, so why they did not get prepared? I know the system may collapse every once in a while, it's not perfect after all, but the whole thing has been down for 3, 4 days. Looks like they didn't do anything to handle more traffic. You can understand the thing being down for a few hours or something, but for a few days? This is really weird. Yeah, I do miss those days when you used to get those old consoles for Christmas and it was just plug and play...

I believe it was only down for less than two days, not three or four. It went down sometime during Christmas day and was back up by last night (the day after). Also, I seriously doubt that Nintendo did nothing to prepare for the high traffic, but the fact of the matter is, they cannot test that. They most likely believed that they had it prepared, but, like I said, they cannot test it. This is simply a trial and error type of situation. They do what they can and hope for the best. And, also, it was only down for less than two days. It could have been worse. I heard that PS4 and Xbox1 had some network issues, too, so it's not like Nintendo is the only one who wasn't able to properly prepare. Sony and Microsoft were in the same boat. They couldn't test what it would be like to have so many people online at once, either. The only way to know for sure if it works is to have that many people go online at once. Unfortunately there were issues, but, that's how technology works. It's imperfect and you can't know certain things until they happen.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed one charge went through and the other is still pending, so i'm not going to bother calling until both go through. I think what happened was I entered my zip code wrong by 1 digit somewhere because the first time I entered all my info it gave me an error regarding my address not matching my CC info. Either way i'm glad the eshop is working, now I can spend way too much money there!

I didn't even really have any issues. The only thing I couldn't do was buy something on the Wii U eShop, and it only lasted a matter of hours for me.

Definately not a big deal. Like @DudeSean said, all Nintendo can do is their best and hope it works the way it should.
