So since they are putting full Wii U retail games on eshop, I was curious to know if anybody knows or heard if they are going to put full Wii retail games on the Wii U eshop? It would be great if they could put those game on eshop as well!

Back in sept I heard a rumor of TP and SMG being on there for $10 but above that.... Nothing I really hope since I'd buy the operation rainfall games if I had the chance

I dont know if this is the same but Nintendo themselves have said that they aren't going to support Wii games anymore. No I know that means they arent going to do any more new physical games but I am not sure on digital games. My guess is though that the answer will be no, since they said they are stopping support.

Really? Well I know Disney Infinity is coming out for the Wii. Maybe they mean the first party titles wont be supported anymore?

Wii games will most likely NOT be sold on the eShop since the system itself runs the Wii in a separate mode.

Yeah only Nintendo themselves have said they arent supporting the Wii so that way they can focus on the Wii U. Other companies like Capcom, Disney, Activison etc. may continue supporting the Wii for awhile. I mean Nintendo's last Wii game was the Kirby Collection which came out in September iirc but since then we have seen the release of Epic Mickey 2.

Yeah that makes sense too since Gamecube games never came to the Wii VC for the very same reason.

Well I know people are complaining bout having to go into a seperate menu for the Wii games so maybe they will eventual patch it to where u dont have to do that. Then they could make Wii game dowloadable. Of course they could still make them downloadable and just put the channel in the Wii menu mode if possible.

Yeah it all comes down to how the system runs Wii games. If they can change it so you don't have to have a separate channel then why not? It could give some great Wii games that didn't sell well on the Wii another bite at the apple.

I can only foresee a huge wait for this feature and an even longer wait between titles released just give me the WiiU VC instead.

Madaussie you're not becoming a negative Nellie too now are you? I'm sure the pace will pick up over the next few months. Anyone remember what it was like when WiiWare launched. We're enjoying boom times by comparison!

@Sean_Azza nah mate! I'm just staring at a TV cabinet full of all the Gamecube/Wii games I need and don't see the point in paying to download em again

Fair enough. I for one would happily ditch my remaining discs for a modest outlay of cash.

Maybe if the price is right but I cannot imagine it would be
