If you ever played the original on GCN/PS2/XBOX, this was a delightful little collectathon platformer; one of the last of its kind. I Tweeted the developer about it, and the feedback was positive-ish. If you'd buy an enhanced port of this game, let them know!

Ty the Tasmanian Tiger was developed by a company that went bankrupt. If it exists in any form still, it sure as heck isn't making games.

So I'm not sure who exactly you tweeted?

Edit: Just did the research - holy crap Krome is back. How did I miss that news.

Edit 2: Looking further, it looks like a tiny studio now. If Ty comes my prediction is that it's for iOS games. The era where Aussie devs make big budget console games is all but over.

Krome is back? They made SW:TFU for Wii and it wasn't terrible, so cool!

Yeah, i'll probably pick this up if it gets a Wii U or 3DS release.

I'd definitely be interested, at least in the first game. I loved the first game enough to 100% it. The second game was pretty good, but I never played the third.

A while ago, I saw my nephew playing a little bit of the first one.

Don't know anything about that crappy-looking iOS boomerang-shooter, but the first one was the only good game in the franchise, in my opinion, but it was great enough fun where I'd gladly pay $15 or $20 all over again for an eShop port with some off-TV play.
