In what way is the map glitchy? All I've noticed so far is that it got some time to get used to, since it's just an overview with no details..
At different locations I wanted to see where I am, but the map was showing the big tree room.
I guess if you're between 2 rooms the game can't locate your position and automatically switches to the tree area.
Do people who have played the game thinks it's worth the price tag?
I'd say it has about the same value as Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, more value than SteamWorld Dig, much much much more value than Ducktales Remastered, and about 1,000 times more value than BLOCK DROP U.

I like Dig better and I have a feeling I would like Guacamelee better as well.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
So I think I'm getting towards the end of the game. Beaten I believe the 3rd boss...
Kinda an interesting thing is that one of the main things I kept hearing about the game is the storytelling and how it tells it's story in less traditional ways that are more fitting to gameplay and subtle visual things (well I wouldn't call the plays the game shows you that subtle but I get what they mean). But even though that's probably the superior way to tell a story in games usually, I do tend to prefer more talk-y, sometimes more cinematic stories and that's especially true here. And I feel a bit bad because I feel the developers really wanted to make this story great but for me, I could not care less. It means nothing to me, even by the standards of video game stories. More a personal preference than a criticism but it does absolutely NOTHING for me and the sad title music maks me dread playing it everytime for some reason.
Otherwise I think it's a really good game though. It's a very solid puzzle platformer and the magnet based physics feel fantastic and work so well and the art style is great. I like the music when it isn't trying to drown me in sorrow. Just a bit disappointed that I don't care about the story considering that's what I kept hearing about it.
Have you sat through the Puppet show yet? I mean...that's pretty ciematic, and I didn't find it hard to infer what what going on there. And this is coming from somebody who only figured out how to infer things a couple of years ago...

There have been several and yes. When I mean cinematic I mean the more Hollywood-y type of cinematic, not a cute little thing that you can kinda walk past.
I didn't mean I didn't get what was going on, I just said it didn't do anything for me. And it feels kinda awkward because how they did storytelling in this game is what I kept hearing about it and I feel there was a lot of heart put into it so my complete lack of interest makes me feel like an ***hole kinda. XD

Is there an example you could give me? I kind of find it interesting what people find sad in music.
"trying" being the key word but the title music just feels so heavy and I don't care XD
Between that and the imagery my first thought was "child being carried away from danger" and it screamed very loudly "BAD THINGS ARE HAPPENING, FEEL BAD". I don't think it was their intention for it to feel so blatantly sad but that's what I got out of it and because I don't care, it does kinda hurt my mood to enjoy it as a video game every time I start it.
Again, this is entirely my tastes more than any real opinion about quality.
The story was just a plus. It's good to give the game more depth and a bit of a break in-between.
Teslagrad clearly focuses on original magnet physics leveldesign and puzzle platforming.
With lots of detail and love put into the atmosphere, animations, music, gameplay, and especially the bosses.
Could have been a little bit longer though. Is there anything for beating Newgame+?
One of the best Indie games i've ever played, right up there with Steamworld Dig and Attack of the Friday Monsters. Wished it was longer only because it was so good.
It's great that Teslagrad is going Retail (like Ducktales before it!), but I feel kinda bad that this wasn't an option day one, when I got the digital version. I much prefer having pretty boxes filling my racks rather than small windows on my Wii U menu.
Oh well, it probably isn't even coming to the Americas anyway, so there's that.
Is there any way you can look at the scrolls you pick up? As far as I'm aware so far you get a tiny image flash up in the corner of the screen and then that's it. I'm not even sure how many I've grabbed so far.
She was like a candle in the wind... Unreliable.
