So I don't know if you folks have been following Towerfall-game.com but it is pretty sweet, and it seems like the perfect game for WiiU with the gamepad and 4 player local play.
So I emailed Matt Thorson who is the creator of said title, and asked about a possible WiiU or any other system than PS4, and he replied, which I can post a screen if needed that he loved the WiiU but nothing in the plans.
So I am calling on fellow Nintendolifers, go to twitter, FB, or whatever, and tell Matt that you want Towerfall on the wiiU, I suggest emailing/tweeting Dan Adelman of Nintendo and pushing him to get with Thorson and get a WiiU version. I mean, shoot, 4 player local co-op is the WiiU's wheelhouse.
Oh, I thought this was a thread for the PS4 version that just released. The game has been getting good reviews and looks really fun. I don't care what system I get it for, but I definitely want to play it.
I was eagerly awaiting it on Steam until I realized there was no online play. Matt Makes (Great) Games. I was a big fan of Jumper and An Untitled Story in college. Still have a ton of custom worlds I made for Jumper 2. MoneySeize and some of his others took up too much of my time, too.
A Wii U version would be an instant pick-up for me. I love battle royale type games, and this one looks quite original.
Totally agree, and was thinking the same thing all week. This would be a fantastic game on Wii U and a perfect fit as "same room mutliplayer" is a key selling point for the console. I wonder if the weak install base is the reason why it's not currently coming to the platform?
I would love for this game to come to Wii U. Can you post links to their facebook, twitter, or e-mail so I can ask... don't really want to do research lol
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

just goto www.towerfall-game.com all the infor /links are there.
Like I said, he said he loved the wiiu, just no plans at the moment. I mean he is literally a one man studio who hooks up with freelance talent/friends. So it may take time. Hopefully Nintendo reaches out to him. It's almost better to spam Dan Adelmann at this point.
Trust me. Spamming people doesn't make them want to do the thing you're spamming them about.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
This game is very over hyped, i have it on PC and while its fun for a couple hours it gets stale very quickly. I haven't played it four player yet but three player was quite fun when everyone gets to grips with it. As noted before there is no online player so if you don't have people to play with this game won't be any fun. Its a decent game and if the price point is cheap its definitely worth a try but don't fall for the hype (like i did, 9.5 from Polygon smh).

Unless it is Dan Adelmann of Nintendo. I agree don't blast the game creators, however, make sure Nintendo knows what games you want on the Eshop, and Dan is probably the best avenue for that.
There is a difference between telling someone once and spamming them, which I believe is what Aviator is getting at. Definitely tell this person if you think that makes a difference, but spamming him would be worse. One, it's annoying. Two, it makes all messages he receives suspicious as they could be fake accounts emailing him.

I took the spamming suggestion from @tebunker as a bunch of people should e-mail him once, instead of a few e-mailing him a lot of times. I guess that one is my fault for assuming

I also wasn't advocating being Annoying but in the figurative sense get to messaging them. I understand that some may misunderstand and take it literally but it is the internet so take that as you will.
Spam - verb: 1. send the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the Internet.
-The Dictionary
Well excuse us for assuming you were using a word correctly...
well, if we use that definition then it would still be wrong as we were talking about sending different messages with the same theme to a single recipient on the internet...

...well, my point is that the OP is confusing everybody by using the wrong word. I'm not asking you to spam. I'm asking you to use English correctly. If you didn't want people to spam, don't ask people to spam!
