Well with the success of the new TMNT cartoon, Activision is making a new game for the turtle boys, and not only that, they are excluding wii u owners. Now there is no reason for this. There are people who like TMNT who own Wii U, what are your guy's thoughts?

Is it fair for turtle fans to get screwed for having a Wii U?

I'm confused. The title tells me its not coming to the eShop for download. But when I read your post you say its not coming to Wii U in general.

Well that game looks terrible anyways. It would've been great but they just had to give the Turtles ugly redesigns for the game! Seriously! Why couldn't they just have made it based of the TV series! I can only imagine what that upcoming live-action Turtles movie will look like... eew. Me no want. I would like it better if they made a TMNT 2.

Maybe its time we let Ninja Turtles die, they are not getting any better.
Even that new cartoon of TMNT, made them into kids, not teenagers.

Ew, this is a '3D' Brawler?...No thanks.
Goes back to playing the ultra rad TMNT III: Radical Rescue for the GameBoy. :p

Anyways, apperantly the last decent TMNT game to hit the scene, was that 2D beat em' up GBA sequal based on the CG TMNT movie.
TMNT: Smash-Up!! for the Wii was a souless, clunky and rushed disaster and the 'Turtles in Time' remake for the PSN/XBOX Live was as appealing as a ooze infested sewer rat sh**. I've officially lost faith in the Turtle games. It's going to take WayForward to inject life and fun back into the series, and knowing them they'll probably play homage to the original cartoon series.

Oh please no on the WayForward. Don't need another Mighty Switch Force graphic's engine game. DuckTales is enough!

You better be referring to the HD port. Because a Turtles game in Mighty Switch Force's sprite style would look nice.

I think I would prefer a Turtles game in the style of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara.

It would be great if WF used the style of the original cartoon series, the way TMNT II: The Arcade Game and Turtles in Time did, of course with even more
detailed and flashier sprites! As for immitating Mighty Switch Force's graphics style for a Turtles game, hell no! :p TMNT II and TMNT IV did it best, but there's still room for improvement. At this point you could just peal the cartoon designs off of the original show and retool them to make them even more detailed and what have you in the game. I want some top quality Turtle-sprite action. :*

Well since Nick now owns everything TMNT related I doubt they will let anyone use the old cartoon graphics. If anything they will want people to use the current cartoon looks.

When Nickelodeon bought Mirage Studio studios, they had to pay off 4Kids as well (for merchandising and distribution rights since the 2003 series was a joint venture between Mirage and 4Kids). But everyone else was allowed to retain their rights to their version of the turtles. Even Peter Laird is allowed to produce some comics in the Mirage continuity every year per his buyout settlement.

To produce the Arcade game and Turtles in Time again, Nickelodeon would have to 1) Get approval from Fred Wolf Productions for use of their version of the turtles, 2) Get approval from Konami for use of their code and graphic engine, and 3) willfully ignore their own attempts to promote this new rendition of the turtles (As some have already alluded to)

And it would confuse the market place. The 2012 series, with the exception of Shredder, features totally brand new/altered versions of the villains. A kid who watches the show wouldn't know who Rocksteady is. Or why April looks so old compared to the turtles.
