Did you hear about this?! http://nintendoeverything.com/diesel-raises-claim-against-die... Clothing manufacturer Diesel has decided to sue Black Forest Games for their use of the trademark Diesel in their upcoming Wii U eshop title Diesel Stormers! Last I checked Diesel fuel was around long before the arrogant clothing company was founded so wtf?! Anyways it's time to boycott these "bleeps" to teach them that it doesn't work well when you frivolously attack smaller companies!
OMG, now this is patent trolling if I ever saw it. It seems like this company's lawyer decided--on a slow afternoon--to type in "Diesel Designs" into Google just to see if there was someone they could sue to make investors happy. Around the 24-25th article the lawyer finds Diesel Stormers and decides to give it a click (why not? He's/She's on a bloated salary anyway). To his/her joy s/he finds development pictures that look like clothing pitches/designs that appear remotely similar to what the company sells... YEZZZZ! FREE MONEY!!!!!1 Because, if you think about it, what could the lawyer really lose at this point? They still get paid, the CEO is too stupid/ignorant to know this is mindless/debasing patent trolling, and no matter what the company doesn't actually lose anything. It's sad.
And don't worry Rukiafan, I'll boycott them ...well, I've never heard of them...but I'll keep boycotting them This kind of practice is just ridiculous.

Thanks! I absolutely hate patent trollers who file frivolous lawsuits like this against much smaller companies since it can easily cause the said company to go belly-up and its employees to lose their jobs.
a quick google search is enough to see that Diesel has been going after cybersquatters and counterfeiters lately, this may have just been lumped into the mix by mistake. They have a right to defend their claim to the use of 'diesel' for their line of fashion, and i'm sure the legal teams on both sides will be able to figure out there's no risk of Diesel and DieselStormers being mistaken for one another. Besides, if you want to get technical, the onus would have been on Black Forest's legal team to make sure they were in the clear before choosing that name.
on another note, i doubt anyone here is buying Diesel jeans anyway, so i bet they're reeeally quaking in their boots over the idea of a boycott by us, lol.
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
Is diesel the company that has the crappy licensed dlc for the Sims 3? If so, I have successfully not purchased it. Then again, it might have been for the Sims 2. Still, avoided it. It just didn't seem worthwhile.
Edit: http://www.ea.com/the-sims-3-diesel-stuff it is the same company. I suppose that means their trademark does have some relevancy in video game spheres. Not much, though.
Congratulations on not understanding what the (idiotic) term "patent troll" even means.
This has nothing to do with a patent claim. It's a trademark claim. Completely different things in every possible respect.
But agreed, still stupid
yeah you read my mind. in fact, i dont think anyone these days actually knows what the term "troll" means anymore.
that word is being overused for everything these days...jeans they say? i dont even own any pants. wait, ive got one pair of pants...oldshortsonly79.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
If there's one thing that means the end of their faddish jeans, it's a Nintendo eShop game.
A new adventure, another day. One more challenge that comes our way.
If you could please check out my cousin's new gaming blog. She's a talented journalist who writes about video games with a passion. I greatly appreciate it!
