Can't wait to fuel my frustration with CLOUDBERRY KINGDOM
Now this is gonna be the gleaming jewel of the bunch I have chosen a 15 minute video from the first part of the game and to make it spoiler free I selected a non english version of the original Megadrive/Genesis release enjoy.
Of the videos I think The Cave and Karateka are the most potentially interesting. In fact I had seen earlier video of The Cave and said "no, too much puzzling/platforming," but the story does seem interesting from what's shown in this video.
Karateka, well, nostalgia doesn't always bear revisiting (see Prince of Persia). I played it a lot on my Atari 800 and really enjoyed it, but if the game is the same with HD graphics, then no, I'm not buying. Hopefully it will be nicely refreshed.
Tengami does look really nice; it also looks like something I would play on my iPad. I'd have to know that it not only didn't control with the touchscreen on the Gamepad, but that you didn't need to look at the Gamepad to play it before I'd consider buying it on Wii U. The games in Nintendo Land that require me to stare at the Gamepad screen (F-Zero I'm looking at you) are the ones I like the least. If I want to play a handheld touchscreen game I have a much better quality display in my iPad, thanks.
RE: the Zen 2 video: I'm liking the look of that Captain America table, but I have to ask why they're under-utilising the Gamepad screen? Why not have the DMD on the Gamepad like Farsight is doing with Pinball Arcade to avoid the PIP covering part of the playfield. I also hope they have a few camera views because the first one was a bit too close to the table for me. I prefer something between that and the overhead view in the Captain America footage.
I'll definitely be checking this out, but I'm still more anxiously awaiting Pinball Arcade (and not just because I'll have two kickstarter rewards awaiting me).
@Sean_Azza If you look at the gamepad there is a button with a picture of a camera so you can select different views on the fly and I also noticed he flicked the touchscreen from the TV to gamepad there could quite possibly be more options to choose maybe. I would say the reason they don't have PIP would be so you can just play on the gamepad only if someone wants to watch TV. For all we know you might be able to customise the setup before playing on the main menu options.
I hope Toki Tori 2 is soon. I've been wanting to play that for a long time!

A new Wii U eShop game announced by Spanish ANIMA GAME STUDIOS.
After Anima - Ark of Sinners (WiiWare) a second game from the Anima - Beyond Fantasy universe will come to the Wii U eShop now, thanks to Kickstarter: It's called Anima - Gate of Memories. Here are two videos of the work-in-progress:
I enjoyed the 1000pts WiiWare game. It's not the best game, but it's an engaging and very challenging action sidescroller with an exciting plot and good atmosphere. Despite coming from an RPG series it completely lacks even the lightest of RPGs elements such as leveling, stats, or even items to collect. Feels more like an old school arcade or SNES game. It really is just a platformer / beat'em up set in a semi-open fantasy world to explore, with a few puzzles but a definite focus on fighting. To put it short: There's no way to permanently enhance your character at all. You have to beat the game with everything you have in the beginning. You gain no more power, there'll be no more moves to learn, and there ain't no heart containers or energy tanks either. It's very enduring later on, so if you decide to pick up the game, I suggest playing on the easiest difficulty setting because beating on medium was extremely hard work, especially in the final boss fights.
There could be more than just 2 or 3 music tracks as well. I think that they loop just too much and more variety would be nice.
The NA version received an update. Europe still has the old version.
Anima - Gate of Memories seems to have RPG elements this time.
Looks like you're starring a different but equally pretty girl as well. And now that you play in a 3D world it looks like the developers really made some progress from the first game. But most of all I'm interested in the story. That was the main draw for the first game.
@SKTTR Nice updated list... But I thought everyone was celebrating WiiU's doom this month so you can't come on here with your big list of awesome eShop titles. I mean c'mon what is wrong with you mate
I forgot the untitled ones:
Shin'en works on a racing game for the eShop
and the the Journey/Flower developers also have a secret title in the wings.
@Big_L91: Retro City Rampage is still scheduled for WiiWare, so yes, it will be accessible on Wii U, through the Wii Mode and Wii Shop Channel, but it's not a Wii U eShop title.
