Neat, the Gamepad should make this more playable than the first one.

Always wanted the first 1 but felt a touch screen would have worked better, but also heard the 3DS version was bad. I am looking forward to this

Had the original on wiiware it seemed to be really well received by reviewers but I just never took to it, can't quite remember why now but it was one of the few wiiware games I regretted buying, that muskateers game still remains the worst wiiware game I ever played though, that was much worse.

there's nothing that's certain... of that you can be certain

I enjoyed the first quite a lot, and am excited to see a sequel. Hopefully we'll see the online features the pc version added.

Yes, really loved the original WiiWare. One of the platform's greatest titles. Downloaded CasteStorm but it wasn't the same.

I want more than a tease, but this is very cool nonetheless. Really great game idea that would benefit hugely from more expansive content. The game play is already in a good place. It just lacked a little in variety (and online play).

Come on, friends,

Really want to see gameplay. Now that Ronimo Games are confirmed to have Wii U devkits, it would be pretty stupid not to port Awesomenauts to Wii U.

Probably, which means I'll eventually pick it up on Steam as I don't own a Wii U. I could see this being neat with the gamepad though.

I expect the gamepad is why they have only announced this for Wii U so far. AFAIK the WIIware & 3DS versions sold the most so it makes sense to stick to Nintendo consoles first but the exclusion of the 3DS announcement makes me think they wanted to try some cool stuff out with the gamepad.

No, that's the original in HD, and they'll bring the sequel soon.

Well make a name for it and then port it later seems to be an ok strategy.
