Topic: Super Toy Cars

I was wondering if any one around here has played this game and what they thought of it. To me it looks like a cross between Micro Machines and RC Pro Am both games I really enjoyed. Now I know that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are getting a game called Toy Box Turbos which is very similar to Micro Machines, I even think it was done by the same developers, but I don't have easy access to either of those systems. So I was thinking of picking up Super Toy Car since I have been wanting to play a Micro Machine type game. So does this game do the job? Is it worth the money?

It should have been released about six months before mk8. Would have been a decent hold over. I think it is on sale, so at a reduced price, it's a decent value.

Not sure about this one but I got TNT Racers a few weeks back and it's decent.I would say it's closer to Micro Machines than Super Toy Cars with a similar viewing angle and the aim being to knock your opponents off the screen.I can't remember if I got it on sale or if it was its normal price but for the £4.49 I got it for it was worth it I'd say.

TNT Racers is really fun and is the most Micro Machines-like of them. Super Toy Cars is good too, but has a much more "realistic" control model. It's level editor is a nice bonus too, but if you want something similar to Micro Machines get TNT Racers.

TNT Racers doesn't have the "toy car" aesthetic, but it's the better game in my opinion. Super Toy Cars is okay, but be warned that doesn't hold a candle to actual Micro Machines games like MMV4 (although, to be fair, neither does TNT Racers).

If it's still on sale and you enjoy Micro Machines, give it a try.
