Slippy Based game? Well okay then! Discuss!

Will come bundled with Star Fox Zero, or solo on the Eshop

Good to see it's still coming!

Yo, can we just buy Star Fox Zero physically without Guard? I gotta say, this does not look fun to me.

I wish Miyamoto had focused on Project Giant Robot instead — that actually looked like a good time.

@VelvetElvis Yeah you get get them by themselves on the eshop, not sure about retail.

Yeah, I saw that, but they didn't specify on the physical version. I wish I had gone all digital on my Wii U, but while I've got a whole lot of digital indies and VC games, I've kept all my retail titles physical. I'd love a physical copy of Zero, but just have, well, interest in Guard. I'll probably just sell it, I guess.

Bummer, I thought Star Fox Guard was going to get its own physical retail copy, it's just a download code in a plastic case...

Nevermind, looks like the first print run is coming with a physical copy of Guard! Don't know why, but I'm really looking forward to these two games!

@Octane The first print edition has both games in a steelbook case but it's only confirmed for Europe as of yet.

Star Fox Guard = 2016 Downloadable Game of the Year

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I still can't get over Slippy's Uncle Grippy. Uncle Grippy. With a creepy porn-stache. It explains a lot about Slippy's past, man.

I'm so sorry for all the hard times I gave you, Slippy. I never knew.

@cookiex: I live in Euroland, so that makes it even better

The first print run / limited edition comes with a steelbook case and both games in their own separate case. Still means I have to deal with that ugly USK logo however...

Looks like there are boss battles as well. Definitely getting a Splatoon vibe with those robot enemies.

It looks like a game that could fit right in Nintendo land 2. I just wonder how diverse the levels will be. 100 levels sounds good but if it's just like zombies in CoD by just adding more enemies each round, there's no real point.

Looks like a very paranoid tower defense.

I like this description.
Speaking of which, apparently the genre for this is being called "Surveillance camera shooting". Which is technically true.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

Yeah, it's a weird combination of tower defence and action/shooting with a limited perspective.
