I might have agreed, but recent things I've read seem to indicate he is specifically making japanese-like games that also try to appeal to western audience is some way without being an RE6 level disaster. I think he's just kinda ignorant on how to do that.

Honestly, while I hate some of the things he's said at points, someone needs to do something about some of these japanese publishers. Some of them are just insane. Also the fact that your favorite newer games are probably unfairly super niche over here, partially because of their lackluster marketing I presume.

IDK I guess I just expected more from the guy that criticizes the Japanese gaming industry for not being creative and taking risks.

Glad I'm not the only one who sees it that way. This, along with pretty much everything else Comcept has made, seem to go against the things he had been talking about. I thought he set out to make himself an example for others to follow, but so far he's just been following the status quo...disappointing is putting it lightly...

Thank you that's the point I was trying to make I'm not trying to say this game will be terrible it's just for a guy that talks so much about how the Japanese gaming industry needs to change and how it has to improve you think he'd be the first one to take action, but things are always easier said than done. Maybe he'll try something crazy on his next game. I guess it just bothered me because I deal with these type of people in real life they talk but they never deliver and well you know what they say "either put up or shut up.'

Is Keiji Infaune's Comcept the same team that released Soul Sacrifice for the Vita???? Soul Sacrifice wasn't THAT bad but it definetly isn't Monster Hunter. Lol sorry for drifiing off topic....

You might like to see him do something new and be all 'it's not about the money, I'm Keiji Inafune the Innavador.' But to me this is a smart business move, and a personal risk. This project has been an incredible success for him and his fledgling studio. A project like this could bank roll his development costs into the future, where he truly can feel free to work on whatever he likes; for that reason, I think the criticism is a little premature.

You twist my words in a way that makes them sound bad, first of all I did say that hopefully his innovation may happen in the next game, which is what you're trying to tell me but I had already said it in the first place. Second, I don't think I have ever once said that Keiji Inafune wants money or is greedy in fact I never even mentioned the word money, I know the world runs on money and I know he needs it hence his kickstarter, all I said was that I wished his game wasn't 97% Megaman. Hopefully he does make enough money to make the most innovative game ever that will revive Japanese gaming. Hopefully you can understand what I'm trying to say and just because I can't say nice things about Inafune 100% percent of the time it doesn't mean that I hate him as a developer or that I think this game's going to be terrible or any other way you want to twist my words to make me sound like a complete troll. Not all people criticize just for the sake of trolling.
EDIT: Also I have donated to his Kickstarter $40

I wish Mighhty No. 9's theme was more fast paced. It's a really nice piece but I would have preferred something more exhilarating. Guess this will have a more serious feeling to it than Megaman.

Considering that there's also reference to Cyborg 009, you're likely not far off.

They finally passed....the $2 Million mark. With 19 days to go. I know that's a long time, but funding has gotten so slow that I honestly don't know if it's actually going to make it to that console stretch goal...

We will at least see a PS3/360/Wii U version become a reality. There's simply no way we won't reach it. What I'm really worried about is getting to the other awesome gameplay ideas; let alone the PS4 version. Then again, I haven't contributed yet.

Luckily slow is a relative term, its only slow compared to the insane first day. There is also something to consider with kickstarter with these extra console releases in how they function and that is most people wont fund and even kickstarter as warned against funding a game for a stretch goal for additional consoles as it may not happen. Until the stretch goal for additional consoles is reached its gonna be slow times ahead as everyone who plans on purchasing the game on said console is in limbo and not willing to take the risk until its guaranteed.

Most Kickstarters see increased funding the closer to the end it gets, with MN9 we will most likely see a parabola in terms of how the funding will play out; lots upfront and at the end. But in addition to that we will see a spike once we get really close to the console releases as those who wish to see said console release will fund when its really close to push over the edge and those who wanted it on said console now funding afterwards knowing it will come to that platform.

I am a Huge mega man fan but even i am holding out until Wii U is confirmed because i would rather play it on there then my PC

Something like this is my guess of what we will see (BEHOLD MY PAINT SKILLS)

Heh, heh, Im pretty sure at the very least by the rate this kickstarter is going, the console owners won't be left out.

18 days for the goal to gain a little over $100,00 more? Yeah, it'll make it. I myself, like others have said, am waiting till it reaches that goal before I contribute in order to assure getting the Wii U version.

I am just waiting for it to be released, It is going to make so much money through Kickstarter, right not I would rather kickstart other projects than kickstart one that is already going to be made and most likely going to come to the Wii U.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
