Just beat the game last night, dare I say a tad overrated but still good fun and for $15 I couldn't ask for much more. Anybody else get the feeling though during the tower level's that the developer just kinda rushed the level's? I thought they were the weakest part of the game.

They were a bit rushed, but at the same time we're getting more content later through free DLC

According to metacritic it's the 4th best game on the 3DS. I'm guessing that's slightly exaggerated?

Won't be for a while. They just finished the Mac release and are probably working on Gender Swap and one of the alt stories. Then they'll have to finish the other two alt stories before we even hear about the multiplayer.
The multiplayer was the last of the stretch goals so it will probably be handled last; not to mention it sounds like the hardest one to implement.

Okay gotcha. This game was amazing, and hopefully it will be multiplayer in the sequel. (Kirby style where you can't hurt each other, not NSMB style.) Not just battle mode. I'd love to play Shovel Knight with my girlfriend.

DLC? I thought it was just a free patch that we would get?
It is. It should just be called an update and not dlc.
I still consider it DLC even though it's free. DLC doesn't have to cost money.
