Let's assume there are occasional discounts on the eShop, and likewise occasional discounts on Playstation for non-subscribers. Then we can look at how the PS+ program might offer a benefit that is distinct. Also I'm not sure how your one year of abysmal experiences has greater merit than the average PS customer who seems to really like the program. I'm glad you feel the service has value as a built in cost to using the PS4, but I'm not convinced that it offers more value than the same service on PS3.
