Been wanting a game of this kind and quality for awhile. Hoping it's the Shovel Knight of GB once it releases!

You judge too soon. That's not the story mode which will have set levels with a Kirby-style hub screen. I think you're quoting runner mode. So shovel knight potential back on

I was quoting the trailer. It didn't say it was "mode". it said it was the game. If the final release does indeed have a story mode with well-designed levels, I'll get it. But I'm not trusting it until it's released.

Okay, maybe I was looking at a year old demo trailer. There's a story trailer now, and it looks 100x better than the demo:

I got it on the iPad because it keeps stuttering on my browser, but I figured it'd give you something similer to ease the wait a little.

The web page says there's 3 different modes. I'm with you though, if the story or 'classic' mode is randomly generated it'll kill my interest. I'm hopeful for the story mode providing some well planned platforming. The ink-freeze shot power is cool enough

Soooo this is coming to the 3DS someday?

This looks more GameBoy than like 99% of the other games that try to be GameBoy style. I hate all these ugly games "LOOK ITS LIKE GAMEBOY!" but it looks like a hand drawn GBA/Minish Cap style. Wrong. That's GBA people.
