For some reason, a huge number of Time Warner customers on the east coast are having trouble connecting to the eShop and doing updates, getting error code 105-4207. Do not call Nintendo support, do not call Time Warner, do not call your router manufacturer, because all three will advise you to call the others. But the specialist they bumped me up to at Nintendo support relayed to me that they were getting bombarded with calls like mine, that complained that while the internet worked fine, the eShop and updates do not, and were getting that exact error code. The underlings at the call center apparently only have inklings of this info, so they will try the obligatory stuff before sending you onto the higher-ups, who will tell you that it's hopeless (if you're lucky and you get one of the honest ones, like I did. Bless you, Chad. You're very unpleasant, but I would be too in your situation.)
We're just gonna have to wait it out. Initially I was advised to call Time Warner... they couldn't figure it out and told me to call my router company. They were closed. So I called Nintendo back, and after a while, got Chad, who gave me the Bad News, or, as I like to call it, the Chad News.
Don't waste 3 hours talking to support staff like I did. We're all Chad News Bears tonight.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
