I'm level 18 almost 19 and it seems hard get group of 4 people who know how to play. My id is thaswizz send me friend request if wanna do bosses!

Servers must went down aaaaaarrrggg! Finally had decent group too! I'm really enjoying this game so far, sure it's a lil grindy, but so is Diablo. I treated to see how content rolls out for it upon release. Aside from Xenoblade this game is most played my wii u in a while

Anyone managed to beat a boss yet? You'll almost wish you hadn't...

Anyone up for a game later? It's possible to get three relics from one mission yet trying to get randoms to play along is a nightmare. You have to be at least level 15 to access the stages but I recommend higher or you'll probably die a lot (I'm level 21). It's very tough.

We had a great time with that boss last night!....only took away a bit of it's health, i cri evrtim.
And still with those crates, it was close to unlocking, very close!....but nothing seemed to work.

Everything is getting wiped when the official release comes right? If so I don't see any point in continuing past this point.

@Undead_terror Ha, we were lucky it let us off so lightly. When it gets down to quarter health it goes mental, and then when you finally beat the thing... put it this way, you'll definitely be crying.

Have you seen the moth/worm boss yet? That's even worse!

@Monkey_Balls: Adding you soon my game is over, I was so close to beating boss last night I equipped 30 potions, but he survived with less the 10 % health!

I'm online right now ID thaswizz , lvl 20! Trying kill bosses, but everyone trying to skip them. Like she's that's big part of fun for me. Wish had my group from last night, they were boss slayers!,

They also need a report option where you can report grief estate join and won't comply to the team. You should be able kick punks out of your party so the don't force you to disband

so far, is there a good enemy variety in lost beavers?

Honestly, I have played for a couple of hours now and I found the game underwhelming. It's a bland weapon based beat 'em up - I feel like I'm back to 1998, only with the online multiplayer.
My online experience was "meh" so far - too many people into grinding for exp points, 90% of the players I have played with use Shadowstalker and a general "Let's do this - but just to level up" attitude. Needs a bachelor of engineering just to understand how the bloody menu works.
Most of all, it's just bland bland bland.
I mean, people dissed Devil's Third, but that was Citizen Kane compared to Lost Reavers...

I was hoping for it to be more of a strategic/let's work together experience but it's an every man for himself/sh*tty experience.

@Pahvi: yeah, mostly it's people who keep shooting enemies for ages while all the others are on the platform and ready to go - it's so boring.
The combat/fighting/beat'em up system (call it whatever you wish) is just atrocious: we have games nowdays where you shoot the enemies and they explode, or you cut them with the sword and their limbs fly off ...I mean, we've had these games for ages. You'd think by now developers have understood that in order to make combat engaging, you have to have that "smoke & mirrors" that makes the thing satisfying to the eye. And I'm not talking about graphics - I'm talking more of a "feeling" you get from fighting. But in Lost Reavers, you hit the enemies and they just vanish. Like on PS1.
Level design is just anonymous - the levels I have played so far feel like the pre-made levels that come packed in with the game engine.

I mean, the thing looks dangerously similar to Mortal Kombat Special Forces, only with multiplayer...

@Thaswizz: @Undead_terror: I notice you're both online. You want to try to get all four relics in one go (we need a fourth player and it involves taking on the boss)?

We actually just killed a boss and he dropped Weapon Crates instead of relics.

I'm 17 and everyone else was 20+

As for the chips/decrypting I'm sure there's a trick to it, I managed to unlock a three star by moving both joysticks until I found the specific spot they each needed to be in.

...it could have also been dumb luck though.
