Nintendo's business development manager Dan Adelman and senior manager of marketing Damon Baker were recently interviewed on GameSpot and discuss how Nintendo & Mojang have a continuing relationship and are looking to possibly get Minecraft on Wii U and maybe 3DS, but for now, there's nothing official.

I only really enjoyed Minecraft when I started putting mods in it, so only the PC version is worth it for me(and it's the only game I'd rather play the PC version)

Yeah, while it may be overrated, it can't be denied that it definitely does sell. Also this would finally make all the people on Miiverse who keep begging for Minecraft on Wii U shut up.

I mean the gameplay isn't dull or anything, since its kinda fun to explore a seemingly limitless (seems like it anyways, lol) world with that sense of being alone and all that...build whatever and stuff. But it gets kinda boring quite quickly for me. And everyone kept bugging me constantly to get it, I wouldn't be disappointed...lol. So, yeah...overrated for me. xD

Cube World actually sounds fun. I wasn't a big fan of Minecraft, though I know plenty who are a fan of it (but some of them also LOVE legos, which I'm not big on...)

Surprisingly enough, he isn't talking about Terraria. Also, Cube World's creator has been horrendously out-of-touch with his community, so I would rather have that game finished before it's ported over to any console system.
A Bit More OT: I've never been a huge fan of Minecraft, but it definitely sells. And if Mojang can get the game running on the Xbox 360, there's no doubt that the game can run on the Wii U. Minecraft + Nintendo console makes a little bit too much sense when you think about it.

However, speaking of Terraria, I would love to have that on the gamepad. It would be a solid indie type game on the WiiU, and if done right, with Nintendo support, they could include cool Nintendo themed gear.
