Games included:

  • Ice Hockey
  • Wario’s Woods
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
  • Super Mario Bros. 2
  • Super Mario Bros. 2 (Lost Levels)
  • Super Mario Bros. 3
  • Dr. Mario
  • Kirby’s Adventure
  • Kid Icarus
  • Punch-Out
  • Metroid
  • NES Open Tournament Golf

This is cool news for me, because I liked NES Remix but wanted more games in it.

It also looks like there will be more crossovers like Samus in SMB, so that's cool.

Which games are you most excited for?

Ended up playing the first one some after the Direct, lol. Of course I got to the last Golf stage and it drove me insane. xD

I love Erica (Strike Witches), Eureka (Eureka Seven), and Tenma (School Rumble), stay away from them. xD
Update: Also love Yukari and Mizore from Rosario + Vampire.
Another Update: Also Yuuki...from School Rumble...

It's a better choice of games than the first one for sure. Still, I had a lot of fun with that one so I hope this one can manage to top that.

I hope they continue the series to include 16-bit as well - maybe even other consoles? PC Engine Remix or SNES Remix, anyone?

Apparently Japan is getting both Nes Remixes on a single disc physical release.

Possibilities:

  • NES Remix 3 - Featuring third party NES games.
  • SNES Remix
  • GBA Remix

I hope one day they do N64 Remix.

Although the games look better than the original, if this is what nintendo thinks this is what the wii u needs to be saved, they're gravely mistaken.

Getting this for sure as I loved the first one. I like having small games like this one between big game releases.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

That's a silly thing to say. Nobody thinks NES Remix 2 will "save" Wii U. And to imply that they're "gravely mistaken," as if Nintendo is going to die relying on this game, is even more ridiculous. Considering DKC:TF, Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. are all on their way out it would be the most ridiculous thing to assume that this is the game that Nintendo is relying on. This is just a small budget game to get a little extra cash and giver Wii U owners a little something to play.

I hope the fact they've got SMB3 on this means that they've done all the NES remixing and SNES remix is happening soon.

I'm not sure why they'd think that...

Anyway, this one is already looking better than the first!

That also comes with a full remixed version of Super Mario Bros. I don't think this one is overpriced

Championship Mode has you trying for high scores in three rapid-fire levels from different NES games, using the scoring system from the 1990 Nintendo World Championships. However, you need to own the first NES Remix to access to that mode.
